I didn't enjoy Nick a lot during the season tbh, but he's a deserving winner from game POV and from life POV, so that's great.

I also enjoyed:
1/ Angelina not getting any votes. I struggled to sympathize with her but she kept trying to have it both ways. The rice. Making the idol a big deal while it probably was the least impressive idol find ever. Coming up with that fake idol thing and not owning that it was a complete failure.

Did anybody else notice how Alison finding the fake idol was edited down to basicly nothing? I am guessing the actual footage was awkward as **** and Alison just immediately caught Angelina's bluff.

2/ Angelina and Nathalie remaining completely unaware of themselves in the wrap-up show. Nathalie is just a lost cause but I was actually kind of surprised Angelina didn't just own that she has a polarizing personality. I guess turning it into a "strong woman" thing makes more sense in our current society, but I for sure did not buy any of it.

Next season twist something along the lines of 1 person can survive after being voted out if you live all alone? (and there's a challenge between surviving player & voted out player every episode)

Yeah I kinda agree with this it's kind of subtle throughout the season but he doesnt seem like a great person (it came out the most with the crap he told Allison during her last tribal)

Yeah just get the impression Mike is a moody person who can seem like a nice guy at times but a petulant jerk if you catch him in the wrong mood.

Alison alluded to his sarcasm often crossing the line into being "biting" - I gathered she was referring to more than just his one comment to her at tribal. He was probably viewed by the other tribemates as a generally OK guy who could be a dick at times.

I do think he played a good game strategy-wise and held his own physically as the older/unathletic dude out there.

Some people just can't turn off the entitlement.

Not enough appreciation for the courage Angelina displayed climbing 100 feet up a waterfall and nearly dying.

2nd most courageous act next to Cirie walking 15 feet.

The prediction was made easier since you also knew that Angelina is an excellent closer and could persuade Nick to take her to the final 3. You were right again!

Not to mention how much she downplayed getting the tribe rice - right on the money with that one. She only mentioned it once during FTC.

On a serious note I give Mike and Nick credit for not saying anything when Angelina credited herself with finding the idol when she lost the clue and had to ask help for help to find it. And the fake idol to make Allison look stupid was clearly motivated by her insecurity given that Allison is a doctor. That was pure jealousy/spite and zero strategy.

She is entertaining because of her lack of self awareness but I do give her credit for being an overachiever and a hard worker.

The end-game was really disappointing given how much fun this season had been. Nick is a deserving winner and played a great game. He seems like a great person, too, which makes it more enjoyable to see him win.

Wanted to say that Mike getting 3 votes prolly meant he was not a total douche, but I can actually see him being a total douche and getting those 3 votes
