If she wasn't such a threat, why was she getting so many votes every tribal?

This is the difference between the perception of her and Kara to the other contestants. No one ever voted for Kara because she wasn't a threat.

Because she wasn't aligned with anyone and people had better people to work with going forward so she was the odd one out.

I have the same question - if Nick hadn’t won immunity he would have been out 3-1 for sure, right? Or has the rule changed for final 4-final 3?

I read it's been like this for the past few seasons. didn't really know either because this is the first season that had me interested up until the finale in a while.

there’s many worlds. I’m pretty sure she would be favored against mike. I would expect pretty much everyone who voted for nick to vote for her. and she probably gets Alison too

I think you'd be surprised. I'd say she gets votes from Dan, John, Alec, Carl and Davie. All of them had a much better relationship with Kara. Mike and Kara played very similar games so I don't think gameplay would be the deciding factor.

Yeah, for the last few seasons F4 immunity winner picks one person to move on with him/her. The 2 leftovers have a fire making challenge to see who the third will be. Once Nick won immunity at F5 he was guaranteed to at least get the chance to make fire to move on.

I was thinking that Nick should have kept on going up the ladder to get the HII instead of getting off and letting Angelina have it. That way he would have been guaranteed F4. He was immune already and could have played the idol at 5.

I thought Nick's speech where he talked about using all aspects of the game to make it to the end was great. He had some bad moments, the blowup after the Davie vote wasn't great gameplay, but in the end he used both his social connections and his puzzle and physical abilities to get him to the end when he was out witted on a couple of votes.

That definitely crossed my mind. If he went out fifth, hed regret that forever. Hope he gets asked about that moment in fiture interviews
