I hope this happens, it would be epic. Like the double idol play in Caramoan or the four idol tribal in Game Changers.

IIRC, the idol nullifier is attached to the vote in the urn, so it's not revealed until after Probst starts counting the votes. Since idols must be played before the votes are counted, Dan won't be able to play the 2nd idol.

Of course, I could be wrong.

I wonder what the producers would do? Would they know about something like that in advance and prepare or what if Dan stood up and said he wanted to play two idols at the same time, since he knew about the nullifier. Would love to see Probsts face if that happened.

For sure the way it is playing out very decent shot he plays it and it actually nullifies.

Angelina reminds me of Ciera, FPS button mashing all the way. I'd be surprised if she got to the end and got any votes from the jury.

Season is delivering so hard. Kudos that the majority of this cast all came to play and win. I had my doubts with all his early silly alliances but Nick has positioned himself so well going forward in the game.

sick swing. makes it 6-5 but davids have the vote steal, so they can control the next vote. goliaths are clearly more divided. davids took out a good target because john was a glue person for the goliaths; he was never gonna cause drama within them and was gonna go along with them and hold them together. it was very smart to target him ahead of angelina (there were 3 john votes and 2 angelina votes). now you have angelina and dan together still. this suddenly makes davids the favorites, while if christian went home it wouldve been horrible for them

devilish davie has to be the season's MVP so far. im not saying he'll win, and he probably won't because of the edit where he's been nonexistent for a while. but between this and getting natalia out while down 3-2, he's had hugely pivotal moments. if he gets to the end he prob wins after this, too. but i could honestly see a f5 with all davids now, and in that case christian/gabby/nick would prob take out davie and carl. but i digress. just wanted to give davie some love as he is playing amazing from a bad spot, which is not something we see often

dan is probably pissed he wasted an idol on angelina, but he probably doesn't realize it was good for him. because now people don't think he has an idol anymore. i think id rather have 1 secret idol than 1 known idol + 1 secret idol. plus angelina is in his debt now.

also props to angelina for begging for him to use it. it reminded me of the jacket moment lol. but seriously, you could tell he didn't want to use it, and i doubt he would have until she pressured him in front of everyone. that is how you fight to the bitter end. it might seem obvious, but a lot of people don't do that in survivor/bb. people's minds are not as made up as they seem, so a little persistence can go a long way.

things are def gonna get interesting because a goliath prob gets voted out next, and then itll be 5-5. its so rare that the two sides take alternating hits like this and then reach a new equilibrium, as opposed to one side dominating. maybe there would be one idol play that pauses things and then goes back to normal. but with the vote steal, there would be no excuse for a david getting voted out next time. there is no question nick has to use it with the numbers at 6-5

really sucks for John who seemed like a solid, if unspectacular, player. it always sucks for the collateral person who loses after an idol is played. also because he only went to like 3-4 total tribals all season. i would've liked to see him in a pressure situation, but he wasn't ever in one

So I'm watching tonight's episode, trying to pay more attention to Christian's confessionals so I can look for these swoon worthy moments. I'm sorry, he reminds me of Gollum. The bug eyes and the head tilting to the side thing. I can't endorse the swooning.

Was hoping there would be a way to keep both Christian and Angelina, but couldn't see it happening. Season continues to deliver.

loved john's laugh when he was eliminated. it seemed so genuine.
the only thing that would make this tc better is if dan didn't give the idol to angelina. they've been setting up their relationship very nicely. you just knew he wouldn't give it to her. nice twist I guess.

Awesome tribal council. I thought the Davids might have had Christian lead a unified 5 votes on a non-Angelina target to stay one step ahead, however it all worked out for them.

Somewhat surprised Dan offered and subsequently played his idol for Angelina, since it meant losing a closer ally and potential "shield" in John (leaving Dan as the largest physical threat), although that's more of a results-oriented thought.


I agree with all of the above, although I can still see Angelina voting Dan out in a heartbeat, despite being in his debt.
