Looks like the Davids have less athletes but probably more smarts, while the Goliaths will win early physical challenges.

Hottie factor looks medium to high with a couple of attractive blondes and an MMA fighter Asian (can't help but throw that into the mix).

Reading the jobs and bio's looks like they forced this theme way after casting. It looks loose at best. But whatever they got that catchy title, and Probst will ram the theme down our throats for no reason, so that's nice.

With tribe swaps happening so early these days, the original "theme" is of of minimal importance anyway. Really it's just a ploy to try and somehow convince people to watch the show who already haven't (good luck with that) or to come back after having quit watching for whatever reason (more plausible, but still unlikely).

Cast looks pretty decent though, more diverse than the model looking people of GI. John hennigan should be fun, Dan the Cop , Jeremy and Nick seem cool, Gabby and Alison too. Natalie Cole is the oldest woman on US Survivor since Jane too.

Not only is the whole theme arbitrary, but probably a third of the contestants aren't on the appropriate team. How the **** is Ned Schneebly on the Goliaths team??? I'm not even saying anything insulting. I'm sure had he known the theme before the producers divvied them up, he would've insisted on being on the Davids team. He's made a career off of playing underdogs. Just ridiculous.

What we do know for sure is that they’ll force the theme down our throats. Oh well, it’s still Survivor. Just hope we don’t get “Goliath strong” where they do try and stick to original tribes through the whole game.

Usually I watch the short 3-4 minute video of each contestant on youtube, but this year I really haven't found a single set of individual cast videos. Am I crazy or are they not doing them this year?

I didn’t find any either. CBS site just has the intro photos/bios.

Cast seems pretty good, i`m liking the feel of a lot of them.

I love the seasons that start with terrible weather right from the jump, throws everyone deep right away. People having their spirit broken on day 3 just from the rain, delicious.

Rough way for the dude to go out. Reminded me of that poor girl who tweaked her knee on the first jump and got medivaced a while ago.
