I'm not as sold on Christian though, I think he has serious potential to become annoying.

A few of the Gen-X folks from S33 have said (in podcasts & other interviews) that if 18-year old Will had made it to FTC, he wasn't getting the $$ simply because he was 18. Who knows if that's actually what would have happened, but it seems a good enough reason to stretch the truth.

Best premiere in a while. Editors are really getting better between the Christian rambling confessional, the subverted idol find, everyone getting a confessional and the build up to Pat's evacuation.

I don't think the Wrestler sounds dumb at all ? Honestly seemed pretty self aware to me, did I miss something?

Theme is the only awful thing about this. Strong cast.

I was legit surprised that it didn't go that way. Felt a little guilty, actually.

I was completely expecting that too as soon as he started the monologue. Although if it was going to happen they likely would have revealed it right away.

That whole ******ed intro was the nut worst set-up. Lets add a super easy slide puzzle and a near impossible 15 block cube and let the david team decide who gets what. I like aspy guy but anyone on that boat would've solved that within a minute.

At the end when that guy got injured it's so painfully obvious Jeff doesn't give a rat's ass about what happened but just wants to cover his own ass and the show. Everything he says is so calculated it's chilling.

+1, it always takes me a few episodes until I know 80+% of the names. I don't consume any preseason content fwiw.

Faces/bodies are obviously easier to remember.

I'm surprised that this show has survived for 37 seasons in the USA tbh

. I agree the way Jeff acts is tilting, but it's quite understandable. If he wasn't calculated in those moments the show'd have probably lost a few lawsuits by now and would've been cancelled.

I love to hate jeff but his actions during medical evacuations are fine.

I was as confused as he was, considering their talk during last ep. I thought it was great edit because they must have talked so much that his confusion is probably justifiable, just not to us.

loved the natalie conversation with the black guy. he's trying to point out that she lacks self awareness but she is having none of it, like any person who lacks self awareness would do.

Solid moves by Elizabeth and Christian to pull that alliance together. They have control now, though they may run into the same problem the fans did on Caramoan where they only had good challenge performers left to vote off and had to kick off one of their alliance members.

Gabby was insecure, yes-BUT she was clearly using her guile to get Christian to go along with her.

If (no WHEN!) they get down, imagine him misunderstanding the context of "do you want to play with me" when she really means it. She is definitely going to need to make the first move.

I think he's more self aware and much less on the spectrum than speculated here.

They are kind of like Sheldon and Amy, at least a non sitcom exaggerated version of them.
