LOL at 'hustlers'. Bell hops, 'diversity advocates' and celebrity secretary? Where's Hawt Pussay and her man Bone Money? Where's f***ing Johnny ADHD the online MTTer grinding 15 tables 15 hours a day?

Big shocker Team Losers end up rowing their boat backwards and blowing every challenge.

You can't seriously be surprised. For Probst, Survivor has become a different kind of social experiment, one where different categories of people compete to prove which category is better. Obviously he wants a healer or a hero to win, so that unselfishness is shown to be better than selfishness. The Hustler tribe was engineered to be inferior.

Re: Survivor S35: Heroes v. Healers v. Hustlers

Just watched the most recent episode.

Why do players even after 35 bloody seasons not realize that flying under the radar until the merge is the best and only strategy. Don't create waves, get along and have a small alliance. Don't worry about idols or being confrontational or weird with anyone.

Starting to change my mind about possible front runners.

They specifically cast people who are unable to do that. A season full of people playing GTO Survivor would be terribly boring.

Also keep in mind that most insiders say that there is a very strong meta-game where the producers manipulate the game such that people they think are entertaining get advantages, so being as boring as possible would not be a winning strategy.

Also keep in mind they they can edit footage to make almost anyone look like anything. Someone who appears to be flying under the radar might have an incredibly advanced social game that we're not seeing. Something that appears to be a major social incident might really be insignificant. They can turn ten seconds of rest into a narrative that someone is lazy and useless around camp.

Yup. Just in the first episode of this season, they made it seem like Chrissy and Katrina were allied, when it was in fact the opposite, and Chrissy was pushing to get Katrina out.

It just has to be so different once out there compared to watching it on TV, sort of a variant of the Mike Tyson "everyone has a game plan until they get punched in the face" quote. One can see the huge difference in the fans vs favorite seasons that being out there the first time has on a lot of these guys.

With that said, Patrick looked like Archie, smiled creepily like Reggie and had a lot of Big Moose in his thought process.

Not an exciting season so far in my opinion, with the biggest surprise being how the editors got me last week, but hopefully some of these players will start to be a bit better to watch.

Nice episode, I still think Joe is way too aggro/abrasive to ever win, but his reads tonight were on point. He's definitely gonna be entertaining at the very least.

i have to say, it seems a little unfair to let him say hes playing it and then walk up to jeff and hand it to him before reevaluating. its like a slowroll. so it shouldnt be too hard to read someone on a 5050 when they're getting slowrolled

its funny because for how bad and crazy alan was with his first tribe, he was actually perfectly fine with this one and got screwed. i dont really like the high variance with a tribe swap, short tribes, and a secret advantage last second, although of course i get why they do it for the random. its such a crapshoot though. hopefully they switch to 2 tribes soon

Joe is Tony Lite when it comes to playing the game, but I agree he's pretty entertaining

Yea what's the point of having a theme if you're going to break it apart after 3 tribals

Re: Survivor S35: Heroes v. Healers v. Hustlers

Was quite a tribal as it appears Joe and Desi targeted Alan just in case an idol was played for Ashley. Even if the votes were on Desi both healers would have been immune and Devon and Ashley would have gone to rocks. Would Desi have been willing to go to rocks if Joe had figured he was safe without playing the idol, or would she flipped on him on the revote?

Was Jessica's decision the correct one to cancel Devon's vote, or was she better off canceling Alan or Ashley and hope that Devon sides with the healers?
