Mike throwing the half-idol in the fire was hilarious. Guy just likes clicking buttons and causing chaos.

At this point, I'm hoping that Chrissy wins just because everyone hates her.

Instead that idiot Ashley will probably win because of a bitter jury.

Still Devons name does not come up. No one is mad at him.

I think for the remaining five is was a fine outcome. Ben goes home if no idol. Instead his idol is used and Lauren is out.

Wow. Lauren pretty much 28-3 that episode. Just run the damn ball.

Loved ones is the nut low. Bring back the auction and skip that corny touchy feely ****.

Lauren screwed up so bad. Dr. Mike nailed it when he said it falls into those dumbest moves ever in survivor history. The only way she could have done it worse is if she actually played her idol for Ben.

I'm rooting for Devon at this point. He's the only likeable person left.

Re: Survivor S35: Heroes v. Healers v. Hustlers

I was really impressed with Ryan and Chrissy 5-6 episodes ago. Chrissy has exposed herself to be a fraud strategically and socially. And I can't condone Ryan voting for Ben last night. It was so mind-numbingly stupid for Mike, Ryan and Chrissy to vote Ben over Lauren.

1. Lauren is the leader of a very tight alliance
2. She has an extra vote which is critical with six remaining when she has an alliance of 3.
3. Ben is the perfect shield as everyone hates him and he is seen as the biggest threat.

It honestly made no sense why they would vote for Ben. Can someone explain what the hell they were thinking?

Re: Survivor S35: Heroes v. Healers v. Hustlers

eh. if Ben goes next, I think Devon emerges as the next biggest target. and he has made it way too clear that he’s staying with Ashley. so it’s basically going to make mike the swing vote, and there’s a pretty decent chance Devon goes out in 5th place if he doesn’t win that immunity

I would say this was a very bad episode for him. their side doesn’t have the numbers anymore. I’m not sure people want to go to the end with him. I think the game remains completely wide open

Re: Survivor S35: Heroes v. Healers v. Hustlers

Devon does probably have the best chance at winning if he makes the final 3 though. And he will also be one of the favorites to win most of the challenges that are left (f5 is usually a physical/running one which Chrissy Ryan and mike would not be very good at)

Devils advocate - Ben is the biggest threat to win the jury vote and was (supposedly) available to be voted out. It isn't out of the question that he could win out immunity from here, so might as well get him while the gettings good. Lauren may have had a lot of power, but it probably isn't clear to anyone there that she has much sway with the jury.

Exactly this. Ben is at least perceived to have a jury lock and they have to take every available shot at him (should have been last week).

Re: Survivor S35: Heroes v. Healers v. Hustlers

Can we maybe stop with the standing up from their seats and do whisper-conference calls during TC?
I'm so over it. If you whisper to your direct neighbor, fine, but this is really getting out of hand, I'm not enjoying that at all.

Half-idol into the fire plus the comment had me laughing out loud, too. Not sure if it was too smart.

Loved-one visit got dragged out like crazy and then they pull stones from a bag, WTF?

It's kind of funny how Devon spreads out every piece of information and it never comes back to haunt him, he must be doing something right.

Re: Survivor S35: Heroes v. Healers v. Hustlers

I don’t get why anyone is criticizing mike throwing the idol into the fire. It made Lauren’s idol unplayable which is clearly good for him and everyone else. He could never use it himself. And doing it at tribal makes it visible to the jury. Plus it was funny. Don’t see anything wrong or ‘not smart’ about it

Seriously, if it wasn't for the complete tribal self-destruct this would've been the WOAT episode in Survivor history. Coinflipping for a ****ing reward and an idol that's basically placed next to Lauren (like wtf she didn't even had to be sneaky about it) I almost said **** it and turned off the episode.

I loved it when Ben approached Mike again telling him what he should do and then Mike going "This just goes to show, never underestimate Dr. Mike" for like the 5th time this season. It was the first time it would actually benefit his own game and then he decides to "wisen up" and not get fooled again. He is literally doing everything wrong. Can you imagine that guy being your doctor?

Probably the most shocking thing of this season: Lauren is only 35!? I would have guessed 45.

Assume you mean loved ones made it terrible. It was a really long loved ones intro and hug segment too.

except for the one Chrissy won, all the immunities have been variations of the same thing. stand in one place

How will she win if everyone hates her? Is she going to appeal for the 'honesty and loyalty' vote?

This is like the best non- all star season in a while.

I've had Ryan pegged as winner since week 2 due to his thought processes and friendly editing. We'll see if that pans out.

I'm still not sure about that. In theory you are right but people want Chrissy out too and are probably also not that happy about going to the end with Mike given the number of healers on the jury. It wasn't a good ep for him but I don't necessarily see him as being the number 2 target just yet, he seems to have a good ability to keep the target off his back.
