Ok I'll admit that was an all time great episode.

It literally had everything, misplaced idol, perfectly played idol, blindside, double cross alliance blowup, fake idols, tables turned, and loved ones.

Only bad part was a woat reward challenge.

she was way too comfortable. ben absolutely right saying viewers at home say never tell anyone about your idol. finally someone actually does that and it works. he is kinda ****ed now though

didnt even realize this, but yeah. which is great. hopefully they dont put a new idol in play although im sure they will

the slate is also pretty much clean on alliances. like you have chrissy + ryan, and you have ashley + devon, and everyone vs ben. maybe mike is firmly with chrissy/ryan now? but hard to tell, especially since they ultimately sided with devon and hes the one who whispered in mike's ear.

so its very very wide open now. cant remember so many shifting alliances this late in a season but its great

i will agree that chrissy is annoying af even though she was my pick to win at the start of the season (well, after 2-3 episodes). her indignation after being on the wrong side of the vote really has no place in survivor. especially because when shes on the right side, she acts all cocky and arrogant. its quite ridiculous.

lol this whole episode happened just because ben overheard lauren/ashley/devon talking. if he isnt there then he votes 'with them' and they blindside him, he doesnt know to use the idol, and he goes home. how are people not more careful? shouldnt you be able to hear someone walking up from behind you in the middle of the woods?

this is one element thats in survivor but not really big brother as much. you can actually get away with eavesdropping here without people knowing. and because of idols, that matters a lot because you can actually do something with that information

and even though lauren made unquestionably atrocious moves this episode, she did have a strong season. i think it just never occurred to her that ben could possibly have an idol. given that ryan just played one, and she got hers immediately afterward, she had no reason to really suspect there was another one in play. so i think that was pretty bad luck for her. i dont know why shes offering her advantages away though. she mustve been counting on ashley/devon being solid til final 3. they wouldnt need any help as long as they get ben out, which they wouldve if it werent for the idol.

still, she was demographically the obvious outsider from the start, and it was impressive for her to not only get as far as she did, but to organize the whole four person alliance a couple episodes ago. so i think she played a great game up until this immunity challenge

i dont really get what changed their minds because even at tribal, chrissy and ryan kept saying they wanted to vote out lauren. and they were whispering in each other ears so its not like theyd be bluffing for some reason. devon must have said something to all of them to get them on the same page somehow

Completely agree. I fast forwarded through the entire segment. Saw that Chrissy won and when she stuck it to Ben by not choosing him and his wife out of spite, I thought that was great. Great episode otherwise.

LMAO @ Lauren telling everybody about her advantage and then when she found the idol. If that wasn't bad enough giving Mike half of it. This was Erik Reichenbach level bad ffs. She really had the best shot to go all the way to the end and possibly win it all but give stupid people enough time and they will surely self destruct.

Season just went full Gabon. Lauren went from playing a good game to making the worst move since Woo.

Unpredictable and entertaining episode but a lot of button clicking randomness. I don't see how anyone really advanced their chances of winning by all this. I mean, technically someone's win equity had to increase but I have no idea whose. Ben is toast. Mike and Chrissy are hard to vote for. Ashleys a goat. Devon and Ryan I guess would be the favorites now.
