Based on what we’ve seen so far, I would still put Ryan as better than like 90% of first time Survivor players. He completely botched the Ali situation, but he has still had people wanting to work with him the entire game; no one has been against him. He handled the original twist well and got a solid and powerful ally in Chrissy. He has Devon loyal to him. He is set up about as well as you could hope going into the merge. You even say he’s not likely to be voted out soon, so I’m not sure why you also think he’s terrible.

really dumb for joe to reveal the idol if he was gonna use it on himself. the entire purpose of revealing it would be to deter votes from you so that you dont have to use it. if you're gonna use it on yourself, you want to attract votes so you wouldnt show it like that

and now hes an even bigger target next week since they know for a fact he doesnt have it. and boasting about how strategic and physical he is is just dumb

smart for the hero/hustlers to be ready with a backup plan. still looks like its gonna be the chrissy and ryan show til the end

I have trouble following this season. Especially when they were explaining who was a hero a hustler or whatever I did not remember or had any idea who was with who. Even after the vote the picture is even more blurry. I thought one side was voting Joe and the other side Cole but at the end they both got blindsided. I have no idea how the sides look and not much interest in trying to figure it out.

I just saw it as proxy votes trying to avoid idols. Joe's proxy was Chrissy, Jessica was Cole's proxy. Trying to get a number out and flush idols. They got the idol out, but not the intended target due to the middle swinging (which was fine for the middle) Ben/Lauren=middle.
