Had to spend a few minutes stalking through the girl's instagram pics. Malcolm should definitely channel his inner nba player on this one.

All I have to say is that when Malcolm lays his cards on the table and talks about maybe using his idol at Tribal Council, that just makes it easier to know he ain't gonna play it. Skupin's spot was the kind you dream of being in as a 2+2er on Survivor, when you vote Malcolm there like it's nothing.

I think it was the right play, to target Malcolm even with his idol to the others. Just due to the other options that are available. As the other options there didn't seem would have done well had been proposed.

Abi should've obv kept her idol and voted for Pete.
But I'm pretty sure that we're all on the same page that Abi wouldn't even be able to grasp that concept.

Maybe Mal played it too hard this week. In my opinion it would've been better to keep the options open. Final seven is a pivotal vote. By comitting himself so many days in advance to that vote, things might get put in to motion more than he likes.

I actually liked Penner's position of not over-comitting himself to final-X deals, even though, from the edit it appeared like he blew his chance of smooth sailing to final three with people that are potentially beatable for him.
With so much emphasis on this 4-some it's almost guaranteed that it'll never happen that way.

But in this case he would have only tied it and a re-vote could have been against him.

So basically malcolm should try to get the three people he trusts in the group of 6 to be the 3 pete votes that way if one flips form abi vote its still tied? That would obv be denise and lisa(lisa prob doesnt have the balls at this point) and himself obv.
This. He should've put the 3 most trusted on Pete and him and the least 2 trusted on Abi. If he really feels endangered he should just vote for Pete and then he's guaranteed never to go home unless 3 people flip on him.

Of course, he probably has a pretty good read of everyone out there by now so doing all the juggling of votes might throw too much attention on him.

ya i was thinking about that.

i don't see who else you could get one of those 6 to vote for.

like 'hey lisa, i know you hate penner so we're gonna vote him out'

i just don't see how a solid case is made to anyone to vote for anyone.

malcolm was the best option. partly because he has the idol, but also because he has a great shot of winning.

in an ideal world, it would be someone other than malcolm though i think, because the risk of him using his idol kinda mitigates your plan.

ya in this case since skupin was told to vote abi, so the plan wouldn't have worked. if he was supposed to be a pete voter, then it could have.

lol i noticed that too. i'm pretty sure there's razors on the survivor set and people get time for that because not all guys have beards, and girls don't always have hairy armpits.

Does anyone think that because Abi had quite possibly the worst tribal council ever, that involved someone staying. Were Artis literally was crying at seeing what was happening to her (this is the man who didn't smile rarely ever). Could negatively evict someone like say Denise at FTC or are they going to go "yeah, good job berating that girl to the point of tears, you showed her"

Idk about Pete, on one hand he seems compassionate to his comrade who was down and out, but on the other he seems to be a rational individual who will be able to set that aside when deciding on a winner. As he acknowledged when leaving it was just a game.

pete's biggest error in the game was aligning with her and honouring his alliance with her once he realized she was batsheet crazy.

you cant ally with crazies in survivor cause you never know what will happen.

edit: causing that chaos between rc and abi also didn't help his cause in the end.

I disagree, I think his big mistake that cost him was really the episode in which he approached Malcolm and asked him about the idol. Before this point we had been shown and as voting history dictated, Malcolm was on Pete's side. By Pete revealing this information, instead of taking the opportunity to blindside Malcolm right their he lost his control of the game. Allowing Malcolm/Denise to lick their wounds and create a new alliance with the pieces.

While Abi was crazy she was loyal to him till the end. Something that can't be said for others, even if they thought it was in their best interest.

If Malcolm gets the chance to replace Lisa with Carter or Abi he's almost certainly taking it. Pretty sure this episode was setting up Malcolm to go full villain by breaking the deal and keeping Abi or something.

Like if this 4 of Malcolm/Skupin/Lisa/Denise is serious then they vote out Penner and Carter with the next two votes, but I don't see any reason for Malcolm/Denise to vote out Carter once Penner is gone.

Penner should have the experience to sence that if three people are looking for certainty in a fourth, that if they don't find it in Penner they will find it in someone else. In fact, Penner should have been more on the ball in realizing that the three that approached him are NOT comfortable with the "let's get to 6 and work it out from there" approach.

Penner thinks he's keeping options open but it is pretty much WTF unheard of to turn down this type of offer unless you are in another alliance.

In fact, his response probably had the group scrambling that they needed to solidify 4 more than ever now. I know I would be worried that I need to act before Pener started to work on what he thought was a better scenerio for himself.

He worked so hard to get himself and "in" position, and then he self-exiles himself under the pretence of strategy... I don't get it.

Yes, but if Probst actually has me feeling sorry for her (which is pretty damn hard to do), then I think he crossed the line and piled on.

I don't really care if he thinks its a cultural thing. She is abrasive and lacks self-awareness. Not that complex.

Yeah, Penner to me had a lot of lol moments. From his choosing to not, snap do the alliance with Lisa/Skupin. (probably because he doesn't have Carter) To the language and tone he used when talking about Abi on the beach while she was sitting there. (BTW loved how the tribe is talking crap about Abi and then the camera pans out and she is sitting beside them the whole time. Well done production)Saying things like you made it far, now your game is over, I find hard to believe will ever be well received.
