Re: Survivor: Nicaragua
after every episode i say the same thing to myself... do people watch this show before applying? why are you dying to be a leader??? why are you telling others about the idol or that you figured out the clue???
the perception of people thinking you have the hidden idol helps you much more than letting other people know.

He is nothing like Russell. Marty actually might win the game.

Re: Survivor: Nicaragua
so I feel like the producers either suspect that the old tribe is just going to keep losing and that Marty could crush the game so they should let him have a chance on a tribe that might win more challenges.
i think it's way more the former, but the marty aspect might of carried some clout.

Re: Survivor: Nicaragua
Naonka makes me want to self harm. Possibly the most tilting survivor ever. Somehow she's a legit girl villain, which would have come in handy last season.

Re: Survivor: Nicaragua
A below average show survivor episode but still better than anything else on TV. I'm a little bittersweet over Jimmy T. going. I mean I hate the guy, but it might make things a little boring now.

Sadly, no. Most of these idiots are "discovered" or are wannabe-actors, and that's the way it's been for awhile now. Cook Islands, for example, had like 14 people from California, most of whom were undiscovered actors. It sucks, but it's just the way they cast. They sort of have to do it, though; if you stuck 20 intelligent, die-hard fans out there, it wouldn't make for great TV. We'd still watch (and love it even more), but your average channel surfer would immediately shut it off.

Yeah I like the timing too
It would be a borefest if the majorities in each tribe just sat there and picked off those in the minority for the next couple of episodes
I am looking forward to see the new tribe dynamics

I don't see Marty having any chance to win. Also, with the olds down by three, I doubt any of them should be in the top group

I totally agree. She is a vile human with no redeeming qualities at all. She is actually ruining this season for me. I am finding it very hard to enjoy.

Re: Survivor: Nicaragua
The other problem with this season is the whole age division. The old tribe is almost drawing dead from the start which basically kills any of the drama.

Re: Survivor: Nicaragua
Marty is a good game player, but his time is going to come to a end soon if he is clipped off of his alliances from his original tribe next week. Hopefully he is stuck with Naonka, and we can see fireworks between those two. He will likely reach the merge but will have his idol flushed out prior to it, and gone early to mid way through the merge. If not he could go to the end.
I just don't see any of the young tribe members taking his crap.

Re: Survivor: Nicaragua
After the merge the young contestants will want to take atleast one older member as far as they can in hopes of being able to play against them in the endurance competition.

Yep Dan is the ultimate cast member everyone wants to take to the end because he can't compete literally.
