Obv Chase's "big brother" act, especially towards Naonka, played a role in some of the votes he got. It also directly resulted in him having an idol to use at F6. Not sure that even if he didn't have that idol the voting would have been different, but the fact that he wooed Naonka enough that she handed it to him on his way out the door does lend some evidence that Chase was not the most horrible player on this season.
Would I have been disappointed if he won? Sure - but not nearly as disappointed as I was the last two seasons.

Re: Survivor: Nicaragua
I feel like some girls on this next season if all that speculation is true, could be an awesome season. Many of them are good looking.

Re: Survivor: Nicaragua
Supposedly Rob's tribe gets 4 men (including him) and 5 women while Russell's gets the 5 men and 4 women, to offset Rob's physical prowess I assume.
Or maybe they're wrong, who knows?
I just know that they have been correct for the last couple of seasons
If contestants are officially announced tonight, someone volunteer to start up the new thread and plug all the contestants in the OP.

Re: Survivor: Nicaragua
I've only seen the recent half of seasons, but my list would be:
1. Cook Islands
2. Tocantins
3. China
Edit: thats just from the normal seasons. Favs vs Favorites was completely awesome as well.

That site gives only spoilers to who might be on this season. Like vyk said it is 18 players with 4 men on Rob's team and 5 on Russell's. Rob and Russell are at the top of their respective tribes and everyone else is in alphabetical order by first name.
I hope they get announced today at the PCA's.

I need to rewatch Cook Islands, but since any idol season that I've seen, my top 3 in this order: Tocantins, China, Samoa (not counting HvV or FvF)

Re: Survivor: Nicaragua
Brenda is a better choice for Ms. OOT, just because she is more relivant. KP is hotter tho imo.

She prolly got 20:1 more camera time and I think has a chance with Fabio and Marty to be on an All Star season

It feels like now might be the right time to kick-off the Redemtion Island thread. I'll throw something together quickly in the next few minutes.

You're right. It's tough, as there's nothing official from CBS just yet. Maybe I'll hang back for a few more days.
