I don't think Russell does things without some sort of appearance fee, and there's no way Rob could afford him.

No, assuming we accept that the jury is always right, a contestant could pursue some brilliant strategy that would likely lock up 5 votes but completely alienate the other 4. There's no extra prize for winning 9-0.

5 people said they were interested. I'd want at least 8 from this thread before I started a game for you, because otherwise it would be dominated by POG regs.
If I don't get more interest, I'll make sure to post in whatever thread is active next time we run one

Re: Survivor: Nicaragua
Guys I'm getting some credible cast speculations about S22: Redemption Island
Since we aren't starting a S22 thread yet, I thought that I should post a few names and pictures of potential contestants for your entertainment. I did this for last season and I believe each contestant that I speculated was on the show, but keep in mind that I could possibly be wrong on a contestant or two.
Please don't overreact and get too nitty or paranoid about these, as they serve to keep discussion going (The source could possibly be wrong about the cast, but he has a solid track record dating back to the last 3 seasons)
Mike Chiesel, a real estate agent in California
Krista Klump, an Auburn cheerleader (looks just like Natalie White)
Steven Staines, the lumberjack mascot for SFAU (LOLOLOL)
Ashley Underwood, women's college basketball player and former beauty queen
Rooster Kaiser, farmer, nature guide, and ACCOUNTANT (LOL) from Virginia (look familiar to anyone)
Andrea Boehlke, student from Wisconsin
Matthew (Wyatt) Elrod, student from Tennessee
Natalie Tenerelli, dancing mactress recruit from Los Angeles
More names to come

Re: Survivor: Nicaragua
I'm again going to vote a huge massive NO on all of this S22 stuff (which are spoilers, BTW, as anything that has not aired/been announced by CBS is a "spoiler" by definition). I mean, are we really going to be able to have a reasonable discussion about these people based solely on their name, occupation, and pictures? And the only people who know the cast are people who read actual spoilers, so I don't want to see one of you go, "Oh man, Player X just looks like a likely winner" and have to guess if this poster is the type of douchebag that would not-so-subtly spoil the winner like that.

That's something you no longer need to be worried about kos
CBS has sued any and all sources responsible for spoiler leaks and they have done a massive firing purge on the camera and assistance crews
There are no s22 spoilers available anywhere, hell there isn't even a proper 100% russell and rob confirmation from anyone (in fear of getting sued probably)
And what better way to get excited for next season (whose premiere is only 7 weeks away mind you), than to discuss the laughable selection of cast members availalbe. The names I gave are pretty much confirmed to be on by connection on facebook through each other, erica shay, various hints, and a timely absence during filming
Your paranoia is unfounded (ban, lynch, and throw off a cliff anyone that gives spoilers though )
btw plz tell me that's not an awesome gif potential

It has nothing to do with that, I just don't see what discussion can be sparked from posting pictures of people, especially since we don't even know if they're in the cast (maybe people do know, but I'm just saying CBS hasn't told us anything yet). It seems like there's absolutely no upside to it, but there's plenty of downside if/when fifteen people in a row say, "I think this guy will win." Call it paranoia if you want, but how many people with 50 posts came into this thread and said, "I think Fabio will win" without any actual analysis? And after people started randomly proclaiming Sandra the eventual winner right after the merge (based on absolutely nothing at all game-wise), yeah, I'd say I'm pretty ****ing suspicious as to how many people who post ITT are spoiled.

i understand kos source of paranoia (to an extent)
but what have things come to, when cast speculation rumors need to be put in spoilers
it's just ridiculous
what's the difference between these cast spec photos and the official CBS ones in a few weeks?
Kos, I already told you that S22 is not spoiled because CBS has gone sue happy. There is nothing you need to be worried about

CBS saying it makes it official, and they do it with bio videos, more information, etc. that actually makes game speculation interesting. I don't care if you post pictures and names, I just think it's pointless since we literally know NOTHING about them other than their jobs and where they're from.
Also, no offense, but you also tend to give out more information than some people want, and you believe pretty much everything you hear, even if it's ridiculous. I mean, you're the guy who told me via PM that Kimbo Slice and Carrie Prejean were going to be on S22, and when I told you that wasn't even remotely believable, you were so confident in it that I started to question if it was actually true.

Yeah some guy spoiled to me that Fabio/Sash/Chase were in the final 3...and I was thrilled cause that meant I would have crushed me Survivor pool! But I didn't even realize there were winner leaks, I always thought CBS did a good job on keeping that under wraps but apparently not.
Upside to posting pics of hot chicks on the next season=hot chicks itt!

If you want to make an omelet, you gotta break some eggs
But I told it to you after you showed interest in s22 cast rumors, and that's exactly what you got, s22 cast rumors. i don't know why you perceived my "confidence" as confidence, it was more like excitement at the prospect of kimbo slice running around survivor
i'm literally just an intermediary in all of this, and I try to filter out the nonsense from the stuff that actually has some merit
i won't bow down to the nittery and paranoia, and I restate myself:
"CBS has gone on a firing purge on their camera/assistance crews as well as a suing rampage targeting any leaks of spoiler information"
the leaks are plugged and the source behind the last 3 seasons has gone into hiding
everything will be alright, no need to panic or get upset

Re: Survivor: Nicaragua
For the record, I didn't show interest in cast rumors, I was just trying to find out if the Russell/Rob thing was legit (which I was hoping it was not). You were the one that told me about the pseudo-celebrity thing, which worried me since I thought the show was about to jump the shark. And I don't know how it could possibly excite you; the last thing this show needs is celebrities.

Reason: and you telling me about Kimbo+Prejean without me asking is kinda my point about you revealing more than people want to hear

Trust me, that will be the last thing you will say, if JC somehow ends up on next season (twitter blackout + "family vacation" which went from 1-2 weeks to 1 and a half months, i mean we can only speculate and hope)
Everyone on this board will cream themselves (myself included obv)
