Come on Alina, did you ever see Pavarti walking around with hideous socks on? Jesus, this cast is horrible.

Survivor seasons start with dollar signs. If you like Nicaragua, you're in for a treat with the other seasons, as most of them are significantly better than this one.

Re: Survivor: Nicaragua
AFAIK, they are the complete seasons. I recommend watching them all from start to finish, but if you don't want to make that kind of commitment, I'd say start with one of 12/13/15, as those are the beginning of the "new school" seasons. The All-Star seasons are 8, 16, and 20, so I wouldn't start with any of those those since you won't know most of the characters.

Re: Survivor: Nicaragua
You can't really go wrong with any season from 12 onwards tbh, and 6/7/9 are good as well. That youtube link does indeed give complete seasons.

I really didn't start watching until season 19. Me, my wife and my daughter have started watching all the old seasons together over the last year and have really enjoyed. The only 3 we have left to watch are 5, 6 and 7, and then we will likely re-watch HvV. I am not completely spoiled on the seasons still remaining, although I am pretty sure among the cast of characters to come are Sandra, Rob C., and Johnny Fairplay.

Kicking a quitter off the jury doesn't "punish" the quitter at all either, so you're really just hurting the remaining players imo.

Agree with the first part - they must remain jury members - but not so much the second part. Survivor players get a lot of chances to make appearances and speaking engagements for $$$ when they get home - if not nationally than certainly locally in their home towns. A lot have made careers of it. Not being on the jury reduces their name recognition and their chances (albeit not nearly as much as the act of quitting itself does).
Perhaps a good solution is to let them be on the jury, but don't let them speak at the final TC and then completely ignore them at the reunion show.

Wow, I just watched the episode. Simply amazing that some people would go that far into the game and then quit.

Re: Survivor: Nicaragua
Kelly wouldn't quit on her own. She needed somebody else to go with her to make her feel good about the decision.
What would've been epic is if somebody else went to TC announcing their desire to quit, waited until Kelly got her torch snuffed, then said "Nope, I'm not quitting, just wanted to make her quit"

this would 100% be one of the highlights in the entire history of survivor... it's just too bad it would cost them some votes at FTC.

Re: Survivor: Nicaragua
is Rob C's season any good? I started listening to his podcast this year, and I want to see him on the show, but it was before I started watching Survivor.

Re: Survivor: Nicaragua
Yes, it's arguably the best "old school" season ever (mostly because of him). Pre-merge is a little slow, but post-merge is a work of art.
