Re: Survivor: Nicaragua
Apparently CBS is trying to pull a fast one on us, as Chase was actually DQ'd from the immunity challenge against Jane (I thought the editing of that scene was off somehow)
From twitter: @chasericemusic: "Yea I definitely got disqualified from that challenge...good edit cbs, but I didn't just let go"
It looks like CBS is trying to set up Jane for fan favorite

Re: Survivor: Nicaragua
I understand they have to edit some challenges but not showing his DQ is kinda shady.

Call me dumb, but when you try something, and you are leading your competition, and you keep doing it and your lead get's bigger, you are doing it right. This wasn't a heat qualifier, Slanche. Time don't matter.
And, I have no idea what you are trying to explain.

Re: Survivor: Nicaragua
Do you guys pay attention to when we're obviously being duped? Like the part where Brenda is smugly smiling at Sash expecting him to play the Idol - most likely they were reaction shots taken out of context, possibly from hours earlier in the Tribal. Anything with reaction shots has a high chance of being fake.
Also, in the volcano, Kelly P's "I never talk" exchange was definitely a splice and/or taken way out of context.

Re: Survivor: Nicaragua
Baltimore Jones is on the ball
Kelly P's supposed "you never talk" line (from Chase) was actually regarding Fabio and Naonka, "they never talk"

I despise that but I guess it makes it better tv for the general audience.

Re: Survivor: Nicaragua
Marty to Brenda at Ponderosa: "So the nutjobs are in charge."
Brenda was not in the running for Alina's vote.
%$&^%$. Brenda can't imagine what is going to happen next, so how am I supposed to deliver power rankings? {sigh} She was frickin there in the middle of it and I have to try to gleen info from the frickin edit CBS is feeding me.
Okay, Boc, Kart, fess up. Which one of you is really Alina?
Naonka got points ITT by simply aligning with our golden boy Fabio. She's becoming a lot of people's favorite according to her. LOLLLLLLLL! She's a role model for her students! She wants to make her ex-husband remorseful that he let her get away. Good luck with that one. Oh man, I hope she makes final three. I can't wait to hear her lobby for the million.
I can't believe I just sat through that whole Kelly Purple confessional.
It looks like Holly and Jane might take Chase back since Brenda is gone--warily.
I'm going to have to finish up these secret scenes later.

Ponderosa is basically just spoiler + Alina bitching about Marty/Brenda's ego-conversation.
Alina gonna drown herself if Sash is next voted out.

Re: Survivor: Nicaragua
I can't decide if Fabio is a ****** or playing really well or if he's playing really well on accident because he's a ******. I'm leaning towards the last option.
He doesn't really have any enemies other than Na, right? Has anyone wrote his name down at all?

Re: Survivor: Nicaragua
Chase: "I'm not playing off my heart or my head. I'm playing off where God wants me to go. If God doesn't want me to win this game, well then whatever."
So he wasn't trying to get in Brenda's pants, he was just following the big guy's orders.

Here Benry smugly acknowledges Naonka talking about Chase
Naonka: "Chase was running around camp like a chicken with his head cut off"

Re: Survivor: Nicaragua
Chase trying to get in God's pants imo
This episode is further confirmation - as if any were needed - that Sash is light years ahead of Brenda. I'm glad that Holly et al. made a big move - I'm sure everyone wishes it would happen more often - but Sash was by far the bigger threat, and it baffles me that none of them realised that.
EDIT: It seems like the editors are trying to give Jane an exaggerated positive edit by not showing Chase being DQed. I'm not saying this automatically means she wins or anything, but it's something to consider as she's been getting a lot of air time (and Marty voting for Jane at the end would make a great story arc). I'm still hoping that Sash takes it down though (or that the F3 is some random laffos combination like Benry-Fabio-Kelly).

that's like three levels too advanced for this cast. they already tried that and failed once this season.
