Re: Survivor: Nicaragua
I offered a Kart vs. Kos Survivor last year, but he pussed out. Also, if this thread was the game, you'd be crazy to take me out first, as you'd be able to get me out literally any week you wanted.
Also, boc is a ******, too. Yes, dude, Purple Kelly is crazy strategic...the editors are just hiding it from us. Richard Hatch was a luckbox. Yau-Man was a fish. Everyone who has ever played is equally strategic. Please keep up your incredible contributions to this thread!

Re: Survivor: Nicaragua
How would this game be ran? Need 16 players as that is the perfect number. I would make up twists to the game as well if I am Probst.
Would love Kos vs Kart.

It would be slightly more reasonable to do this now, I suppose. When it was suggested before, everyone who wanted to play hated me and wanted to prove I knew nothing about survivor. Kos can call it whatever misogynistic term he wants, but if he has a brain in his head (he doesn't) he knows it would have been absurd for me to try to compete in such a game.
Kos is one of the few people I like bashing even knowing he can't read what I write. He's just such an easy target. Dumbest consistent poster ITT.

In before cash announces a Palau-style eviction twist and Kos and kart are the first two voted out
Best part is boc wouldn't even be able to complain about the editing!

Whatever dude, have I said any of those things? Or are you making them up?
Kelly Purple may or may not be playing a strategic game. There's not much to go on besides one Insider video where she spouts off a bunch of stuff about Sash and Marty being between her and a million dollars. And you're right, she probably isn't going to lead some renegade alliance to overthrow Brenda and Sash in the middle of everything... But the only reason why can infer that is because of editing and the fact that such an important person to the story wouldn't be so invisible. But hey, maybe she will become important down the stretch. Natalie Bolton in FvF was invisible for like 9 consecutive episodes and then became a huge presence in the end.
The assertion that "Sash is gonna cruise to this victory" is what really galls me. Why would you say that? Because he's been shown as in control of the voteout a couple of weeks in a row? Are there many people on the jury or lined up for the jury who have been shown to like Sash? He has a few connections. Marty, Brenda, Na, Chase. One scene with Jane where he reassured her that they're in an alliance, but then overruled her proposal to vote out Marty. Really though, that's about it.
By saying that, you A) Ignore the jury phase of the game, and B) Assume that the rest of the players are incapable of "strategic play". It's annoying. Your Russell avatar is so ****ing appropriate.

Ha ha, nice try Kos. I'm still on board for voting you out first. Also, I have to tone down my snide comments about the wimmins so I can vy for Kart's jury vote.
In before Kos scoops up Variance Minefield for his team.

It won't be Kos vs. Kart. I thought we were talking about a "thread survivor," as in one of us can never post here ever again. If you guys want to actually play Survivor (which is kinda pointless imo), I think they do it in P&G.
EDIT: But seriously, if this was a game, good players would have to be insane to boot me pre-merge since you could boot me at will (I'd have no allies ldo). You'd definitely want to boot me early jury so I could vote for you at the end.

You can add me to that list
No way in hell am I letting kos get ganged up on early, i just don't understand the rationale behind it and there are plenty of better candidates
+this whole bashing on other posters when they have you ignored or vice versa just reminds me of this:

Re: Survivor: Nicaragua
WIth Marty's early exit, does anyone from this season have any real shot at all-star seasons other than Na and maybe Fabio if he makes a deep run? I don't think Sash or Brenda is likable enough and the others bring very little to the table.

I like how Kos's lone definition of strategic is scheming.

I see what you are doing with your I'm not a threat spiel. You aren't fooling me. And your mind tricks are already working because people are lining up to be on your team. And I might do something stupid like take someone I like with me to the end because I think I can beat him anyway which might cost me your vote. No jury for you, sir. Although, perhaps if you would be willing to give me your hidden immunity idol as a show of good faith...

Brenda and NaOnka are probably in just because there are so few memorable women. Marty is the most likely repeat male by a mile, though Sash and Fabio have a shot depending on how the rest of the game goes.

I'm not really sure what your definition of "scheming" is, but what do you think I'm leaving out?

It's pretty tough to be a threat when you aren't playing.

Rob C. seems to think Marty is a lock for an allstar season. Also if she finishes as strongly as I expect I think Holly will be an allstar candidate.

I didn't say scheming wasn't solely strategic, I said strategy isn't solely scheming. One can strategize without getting Machiavellian. Being likable and applying goodwill can be a strategy.

Re: Survivor: Nicaragua
We're just finishing up a Survivor game in POG right now
If there's actually serious interest for a game, I'll run another one when it's done, with priority entrance given to posters in this thread. To avoid cluttering the thread, PM me if you're interested. If I get enough interest, I'll start it up in the next couple weeks
