Whatever. I told myself I wouldn't let this thread put me on lifetilt anymore. But Kos's lovefest for Brenda/Sash/Marty/Jill (The people who have gotten the bulk of the strategic airtime) and hate for the rest of the cast is tough to take. Kos's favorites and least-favorites are so ****ing predictable. Love the gamebots, complain that the rest of the cast "ISN'T EVEN PLAYING THE GAME". Kool-Aid drinker to the max.
It's typical. People promote what they like and devalue what they don't like. You needn't take it personally. Another thing you'll notice is that people like Jill get credit for being 'strategic' when they kind of aren't. She made friends with Marty and was 'on his team' and got credit for being more gamey than I think she really was (based on some of her confessionals). Marty himself was going on about Jill and Dan being solid players. Either he respects different types of play or they are getting a lot of points for being on his team. I believe the latter. Likewise, if you oppose him, you lose points and must not be a good player.
People like what they like. It's okay. I think what you object to is the projection of
"What I like is correct and smart, and what you like is wrong and stupid." Just keep in mind that just because Kos or I or anyone else says something doesn't make it true. Life is not a math equation. Survivor is not a math equation. People are subjective. Even the ones who think they aren't.
edit: also, given the tone of some of your own posts, if I'm correct about the bolded...ironic.
