Probst is one of those people who likes to make "predictions" based on info he already has to seem smarter. It's sad and really annoying before you figure it out and stop reading his bs.

No, but I'll try to remember to spoil tag it or mention that the quote I'm quoting is from his blog so you can choose to skip it if you wish.

I just hope that someone puts out Marty's ****ing torch already. I got a last longer bet with my wife for some sweet rewards. I got Brenda fwiw, we picked a player at the end of the first episode.

Is Jane even playing? She doesn't seem to care about anything besides booting Marty. I love Jane as a character, but it doesn't seem like she's thinking strategically at all.

If I had to guess who was going next I'm gonna play it safe and say Marty.

Does that work? Him seeming smarter because of his 'predictions', that is. I mean, we all know he was there.

I always assume he throws out a random "X could still win, but I do/don't like how he/she is playing right now" comment that may or may not be legit. He's always straight forward you say? Never with the misdirect?

Those have some misdirects. I'm more talking about things like "...that could come back to hurt him later in the game..." Those sorts of predictions have always come true, in my experience.

According to Yve, Holly, and Dan both would not have gone back into a alliance with him, but that might have all changed now. Dan was giving info to Marty last week.

I think you are in good Ike. Unless Marty finds a idol after it is played, everyone forgets about him, or he gets into a male alliance with Sash he can't be lasting that much longer.

yeah shes not playing except when she snap switched to the young tribe on the switch up. i think holly might have a actual shot though. incredible after the shoe incident. ive never seen such a good comeback. do you think holly likes marty or not? if she does it opens up a lot more plays for him. maybe him, holly, benry, fabio, kelly purple and dan allign and take out nay next week.

Talk about your relationship with Benry...as he voted for you last night he called you a "100%, Grade A dirt squirrel". What was your reaction to watching that?

Um, wow. I literally sat here shocked. I was just like, what??? I mean, he had so much animosity towards me. I mean, there was nothing that wasn't shown that would explain why he feels that way. I knew we didn't always get along...we would sometimes get irritated with each other at camp, but that was just part of everyday life. There was nothing that I thought I did to warrant that kind of animosity. At least he finally said something that was entertaining, I mean he's not the most entertaining guy or interesting person, so thank goodness he had at least one good sound bite for the season! So it was really random and I don't really know what a dirt squirrel is, but I'll wear it proudly...if I'm a dirt squirrel then I'm a dirt squirrel.

Even the snap switch I think was more based on hatred of Marty than gameplay. I think that if she had felt included with old Espada that she would not have flipped.

Nay is the one person left I'd be utterly shocked if they didn't make final 3.

***Look out, I'm giving you my read here, but I've probably been completely manipulated and hoodwinked by CBS, so don't trust a word I say:

Holly's secret scene seemed to suggest that her feelings for Marty were not unlike Jane's. She felt like he wrote her off at Old Espada. She felt like she and Jane were next on the block at Old Espada and Marty was in charge over there, so she still sees him as an enemy. Also, I'm sure she feels like Jane is a potential ally, and the enemy of my friend is my enemy.

Of course Holly is playing a much better game than Jane. They are lay low types and Holly is actually laying low, while Jane is popping up like a whack-a-mole to spout off at Marty, lobby against Marty, etc. Like you need to lobby against Marty. He does enough of that himself.

I think Jane is playing this game like she played the last immunity challenge. She's playing to beat Marty. It's hurting her.

Also, she's catching food and making a show of it, hanging tough in competitions, making new friends, trying hard to sway the vote the way she wants it to go when she doesn't have the power to make it happen and should just be patient. It's all hurting her.

Like Kart, I'd probably play it safe and pick Marty to go home if pressed, but I'd have done that for weeks now, so maybe it's not that safe. I just think Sash and Brenda are in a great spot. I think they are by far the most dangerous players but they have several loyal minions on top of this great target in Marty. And Marty painted a convincing target on Jane. Benry is a potential mark. Somehow these guys are managing to call the shots and sort of lay low at the same time.

But aren't they also obvious. Has he ever said one of those where you were like...why? Why would that hurt him later in the game? Seems like stealing the tribe's food could only help your game. That last bit was for funny, but am I wrong here.

I never believed Yve knew what she was talking about where Dan was concerned. And him feeding Marty information seemed to support that. But Dan's secret scene had him saying he liked 'the kids' referring to Chase and Benry. He said he'd be happy seeing either of the kids win the million. But he also, ratted out Chase, so I'm not sure where Dan is at. It's possible he just changed his mind about Chase once he saw how tight Chase seemed to be with the food stealer and her protectors.

I wish I could remember specifics from last season, but I can't. I just know I felt horribly spoiled at least half the time I read his blog.

kart, like nay, is just somebody i would never willingly associate with in real life for a plethora of reasons (even in tv and message board life i've been tempted to not watch this season (and just spank it to google image searches of purple kelly every wednesday night intead) and/or block kart or even just unsubscribe to this thread). and i would think they feel the same. surely this speaks as much to my personality, opinions, life approach, etc as his (and hers). luckily, this invalidates his theory i'm a racist and a misogynist cuz he's a white guy.

and for the record: b.tches still be crazy! but, to be fair, men are pigs!

scary thought of the day: imagine if nay and kart ever procreated.

I can't believe a Sandra supporter is questioning whether Jane is "playing the game". Don't we all realize at this point that just being a likeable and friendly person is far more important than any kind of super-strategic elaborate planning? It wouldn't surprise me to read that stuff from Kos, but kart, really?

Keepitreal is like the Benry of this thread. What a ****ing toolbox you are with your douchebag posts that are like 99% full of incorrect ****. You're probably Nucleon's gimmick.

I did consider this before I made my post about Jane. I think there is a rather big difference between Sandra targeting Russell and Jane targeting Marty. Sandra desperately wanted Russell out not b/c she hated him (she did), but because not until final 5 or so did she realize the jury would never give him the money. Sandra saw someone who running the game (she was wrong, Parv was running it), and was positioning himself to to crush the jury vote.

So while they seem similar, I'm making the logic leap (perhaps through bias, I have always loved Sandra) that Sandra's moves were born of strategy, and Jane's of emotion.

The biggest indicator of this to me is that Marty is well aware Jane wants him out as she confronted him directly several times, while Russell had no idea Sandra wasn't in his camp.

Edit: I am completely willing to admit that I may be making all this up and may just be biased b/c Sandra is one of my all-time favorites.

Edit 2: I love Jane too. I also think once Marty IS gone and she is no longer seeing red she may start playing a more strategic game.

No 100% full of it would be your gimmick Boc. You have done almost everything you complain about other people doing like ranting off about how people are saying these contestants are bad players, yet you have stated that Na, and Holly are both poor players yourself .

Gif makers: Kelly and Brenda ass shots are at around 17-18 minutes into the 10/27 episode, immediately preceding Jane cooking and eating fish on her own.

It isn't my problem that you make hypocritical statements many, many times in this thread. You even admitted the above yesterday. How is that NOT a hypocritical statement?

Not to mention that you made a hypocritical statement in your post before this one.

For someone who keeps bringing up that we shouldn't judge what we see on the show due to the editors only showing us what they want to, you are saying that Benry is a toolbox due to editing.

And maybe I would go away if there wasn't a troll in this thread. lol
