First, some thoughts on the epi. And I will definately be watching secret scenes before ranking these losers, so hold yer horses.
Let me back track a minute because I forgot to mention it, but Yve is a freak. Did you people watch her secret scene regarding killing the chicken last week?
Freak.
Ok, let's see, where to start?
It's becoming clear that the reason why Marty looked so competent at this game was because his back drop is a conglomeration of idiots. Unfortunately, he's starting to blend in. Maybe I'll change my mind about this after KOS explains why all of Marty's moves were genius. He claims he can deliver Jane. LOL This was by far the most amusing thing to me...although him trying to impress Fabio with the grandmaster business was close. Fabio's so dumb. Being proud of yourself for getting him to believe irrelevant lies just seems mean. I think Jane dislikes Marty more than she wants to win the game. And he is claiming he can deliver her. Fabio and Kelly B were in an awful position in their old tribe. They needed someone to scoop them up, but were too stupid to realize they needed someone--like say, a grand tennis master--to scoop them up. Unfortunately, so was he. And now one of them is gone. How is it difficult to understand that Sash and Brenda are the ones calling the shots, so he definitely needs to attack the weak links? I'm offended that this guy was compared to Russell. Then, once TC is clearly going in the crapper, how does he not play the idol? I really can't believe that worked out for him. Ok, enough on Marty for now. Maybe I will revisit later.
Kelly B: "I'm on the outs with the old La Flor, so I'm just going to lay low, stick with them, vote out potential allies, and keep as many of my known enemies in the game as possible...Provided they don't vote me out at the next TC, of course. I gotta hope they fail to realize what a threat I am with my artificial leg as my only ally." gg Kelly B.
I'm not gonna bash on Fabio. Seems rude to poke fun at the mentally impaired.
And Brenda and Sash. Kelly B. Really? They come up with this plan to flush out the idol. He doesn't play it. And they don't vote him out.
I don't get it. Plus, I'll have to rewatch, but I think that Marty vote might have been cast by Jane. I'm wondering if they left her out of all the strategizing. That's pretty much why she had such a beef with Marty and Jill. Leaving Jane dangling could be a bad move. They are probably Ok because she hates Marty so much, but if they are doing things without clueing her in, it could come back to bite them at some point.
I think somebody was suggesting Alina should keep Yve around as a potential ally, and I totally agree. Keeping Dan is a horrible choice for Alina. Weakens their tribe for challenges. Puts her own neck that much closer to the chopping block. Keeps another ally around for men. Really, really terrible. Of course, Yve didn't help herself out when she said she was in good with the Greys on La Flor. If Alina cared that she was in a formerly awful position at La Flor, that might have been a good thing to tell her, but she was as unphased by it as Kelly B. And it was pretty obvious the Pubes were sticking together at Espada. Yve would have been much better off trying to appeal to Alina and shaNaynay as a woman. Point out how Dan is not only going to weaken this tribe, but will always align with other men no matter what tribe he's on.
I think Chase had fair reasoning for keeping Dan as far as how it affects his own game. I might come around him eventually. But what does he think is going to happen to him if he is coming down the home stretch with Naynay, Brenda, Sash, and some random rejects? Who in that group wants to sit next to Captain America at the FTC? (Not that he's Capt. America, but he kind of is against that line up.) He'll have to win out or they will ax him at first chance.
