A quick glance through FIDE's rating list shows he isn't even listed, which means at best he's rated around 2000 (which is still pretty damn good). I bet it's probably just a ruse to mess with Fabio, that guy will probably believe anything.
FPS if he's trying to mess with Fabio. Doubtful he knows what a chess grand master is and whether or not to be impressed.

Double-boot episodes have to be standard for 20-person seasons barring lots of quitters/medevacs, since otherwise they can't get down to F3 in the required number of episodes


I don't think the GM thing is FPS at all. Marty knows that Jud isn't that clever, but most people are at least aware of the concept of a chess grandmaster, and the intellectual ability it entails. It's pretty much the best lie he could have told imo.
