Some concerns I have after watching secret scenes: Why aren't Alina and Kelly B more concerned about aligning with the Pubes and then merging right back into the bottom of the Pube alliance? I'd be at least a little concerned about that. Oddly, Alina didn't even seem too bothered about her former position. And while Kelly B was bothered about it, and said she was happy about the new tribe construction, she also made a comment that was along the lines of: "I was in a terrible position, but now things are looking better for me, and I think we can get down to the merge and be the Old La Flor." Does she hear the words that are coming out of her mouth? I just don't understand what she, Alina, and Fabio are thinking if they are content to just resume back into their positions with La Flor following a merge. Alina is stengthening her position with Ben and Naonka, and trying to connect with Greys, but there is no reason not to expect Naonka, Chase, Brenda, and Sash (and Delta Delta Delta--I always forget her) to solidify back up following a merge. Is there? And where does she think she is going to stand in that alliance? I guess, she, Ben, Kelly B and Fabio can try to pick up the Grey stragglers? Seems better to start alligning with them now. Well, except for Marty, of course. That cat is dangerous.

I don't know. Am I missing something here?

Also regarding secret scenes: How about Kelly B's read on Marty vs. Delta Delta Delta? Kelly B is all: "I'm not sure I trust that guy. He is happy to be in control." Kelly Purple: "Marty is playing so honestly and integrity is really important to me." (Her secret scene was so bad, KOS couldn't even listen to all of it.) She thinks he's honest because he said he was. Hook, line, and sinker over here.

Also, I'm concerned about the level of trust that Jill has in Marty. I don't think that is wise. It's okay to allign with the crafty guy, just don't forget he's the crafty guy...and he cares nothing about you.

One passage struck me in particular. I marked all the interesting parts:

I laughed pretty hard after reading this. I could have sworn that Shane was the alternate for HvV that got jobbed.

What does everyone else think about this article?
Doesn't surprise me in the least that Bellande completely makes up stories to make himself look better.

If Marty is truly a fan of Russell, he needs to get going on that "Dumb Girl Alliance" with Kelly Purple.

I bet she didn't even have to tryout, and was found by casting agents.

Surprised to see that Brenda walking back to the mat after the tribe switch up hasn't been gif'd yet - anyone else catch that booty?

On a strategic note, I hate the way the did the mix-up. I much prefer the old-school pick-em style because it lets people know where they stand on the totem pole, meaning more drama, back stabbing and strategy!

Plus the pics are airbrushed, which will make her much better looking then compared to being on Survivor. People need to wait til finale night where she is all dolled up, and then compare.

I call total BS on Marty being a chess grandmaster.

Marty is a US citizen, and there are probably only ~50 GM's in the entire US, none of which have the personality or social skills for primetime reality TV.

A quick glance through FIDE's rating list shows he isn't even listed, which means at best he's rated around 2000 (which is still pretty damn good). I bet it's probably just a ruse to mess with Fabio, that guy will probably believe anything.

I just created a Survivor Skype chat (we have similar ones in SE for the NBA, soccer). Contact me on Skype (name is Dyenimator) and I'll add you. Hopefully we can get a few people in there for immediate discussion of this season and past seasons.

CBS keeps running commercials for Wednesday's episode. I'll put it in spoilers, but if you're watching football today, you probably already know this...

Spoiler:
Both tribes will to TC, and they're playing for individual immunity. It seems like this is becoming standard during 20-person seasons.
