What was awesome about Jimmy J? he made 2 of the biggest errors you can make on survivor and it's only been 1 episode.

1) He complained about the conditions as though not EVERYONE was going through them.

2) He gave them a guilt-free option of booting him.

I don't expect him to come close to the merge let alone ftc. Just just seems to be a bad player if he doesn't change his game a LOT from here.

Ever considered that maybe they were going around taking turns talking about the conditions, and Jimmy's was the only one shown by the editors?

But you're right. What the editors showed us does not bode well for Jimmy Johnson. He's still awesome, though.

It's possible, but the way it was cut it looked more like he was giving excuses for puking/nearly puking.

dry heaving ITT

yeah, unfortunate edit for JJ. You can't expect him to last long anyway, though. He's the second-oldest contestant ever (behind rudy obv) and he's a well-enough-know multi-millionaire.

edit ninja: hyphenation ITT

I was wondering the other day if Jenn is the only contestant who is now dead. does anyone know of anyone else who died?

edit: besides amanda in my dreams

I'm pretty sure she's the only one so far.

Jimmy is right, the Jury is NEVER going to give him 1 million dollars.

I don't see any reason in voting him off.

Also, it seems a bit early to vote off the one legged lady in fear of sympathy votes.

i'll admit to have a minor crush on kelly b (the amputee) right now. she's cute, has a great body (the leg doesn't really bother me for whatever reason), and based on the footage in the first episode, has the best personality of the girls thus far, imo. we'll see if that holds up.

+1 maybe it was just the production or maybe this happens every year..but it seems like the old ppl especially were picking fights that don't need to start until closer to the merge. get ppl on your side first man!

He's old, frail and whiny. Those are 3 great reasons to vote him off.

Also who knows what the jury will do, way too early to predict that.

Half of Espada is old, frail and whiny. This isn't like a normal season where tribes are composed of nine 20-something wannabe ubermenschen and a token menopausal woman.

If Espada is the cluster**** it appears to be, keeping Jimmy J makes sense from the perspective of someone like Marty or Jill. JJ and Jimmy T appear to hate each other (ditto with Holly + Dan) and so keeping JJ means you have four people who are all intent on removing somebody other than you. The only way I can see that this backfires is if one or both pairs makes the merge as part of a majority, and their rivalry is preserved to the point of making one of them more likely to flip.

Did anyone else notice Kelly's picture on the first page of this thread where she has both feet? Editing job?

She's the only one with pants on to hide her leg.

However, in the group photo they show her on the end. I'd be interested to know when they took that group photo because they were all surprised on day 1 when she showed her tribe.
She may have been wearing a "realistic" prosthetic foot for that pic. It is amazing what they do these days.

He's famous so he can't play a std survivor game and win. He has to try something different. Whether this way will work remains to be seen.

I disagree. I think JJ is favored in most juries. His opponents are right to discount his statements about having no chance to win a final vote.

And I hope Jimmy quits saying it. It's getting old fast and might start annoying people who don't believe him anyways.
