lol, I know this is likely the best survivor thread on the net, but the trolling in here is simply unbelievable. Can all the 14 year olds please just leave the thread or just stop trying to antagonize me?

From what I could tell she was voted off because James thought she was a jinx which is level -1 thinking, Rupert thought she was dishonest which is not thinking, and Amanda b/c she was in another alliance which is level 1 thinking.

I'd like to think Cirie and Candice have not committed to Amanda's alliance and this was just a power play to give the swing voters the power, but I only like the play if Cirie, JT, and Candice join up with Colby and Tom from here.
Stephenie's whole strategy seems to have been aligning with people she likes, period and voting out those she doesn't like. That's not how smart people play Survivor.

Besides, the women's strength hardly matters in Survivor imo. Even the weakest man out there (Rupert? Coach?) is significantly stronger than the strongest woman.

Well judging from the episodes and her interviews she didn't much have a chance to do anything. Tom, Colby, and she were ostracized from the beginning, so you can't blame her for that. She said that she liked sugar and did not like James or Rupert, but still voted Sugar out b/c it was the best thing for the tribe. This week she targeted Amanda, the weakest on the tribe (maybe cirie is but cirie was the swing vote), again staying away from Rupert or James.

If you don't think women's strength matters then I guess you haven't seen too much of the show. There's a reason that was the first thing Boston Rob pointed out (albeit incorrectly) in the premier. It's common knowledge that physical challenges are very often won on the strength of the women, as most very physical challenges pit men against men and women against women.

Go back and watch some of the show and you'll see. Glad you came on board this season though, I think you will like the mechanics of the show once you learn them. Not knowing any of the people shouldn't hurt your enjoyment too much.

I can't imagine that was directed at me... I was trying to be as polite as possible in response to a belligerent post. I honestly assumed he hadn't seen too much of the show if he thought women's strength wasn't a huge factor. The last paragraph was a little condescending, but this is a "survivor 101" concept.

Maybe it's wrong to be condescending, but I have been relentless attacked in this forum and only my irl friends are coming to my defense. I don't appreciate this post at all, Wee-Bey.

I've been on the chopping block since my first post. All the gamers I know personally are so reasonable and calm. I as so excited to join this community. I didn't realize it was just a typical internet forum troll-fest.

I'm definitely the Stephenie of this thread.

The Pavarti twitter has me wondering. What if the next Survivor will be gays vs straights? They could bring Hatch back in to lead!

I hope they do SOMETHING to get Rafe back. He's the forgotten master of Survivor. Probably top 20 all time and not recognized for it very much. Todd is also gay, also top 20 and also not talked about enough. I want him back too!

When the Mayan priest came and killed a chicken then threw it in the fire to be burned for the gods. The spanish speaking lady asked if they could eat the chicken the preist said no. Steph then made them all eat the chicken basically..he tried a little of it. Then it started raining hard and they blamed the Mayan gods. It was awesome I thought!

If coach does make it far it will be 100% because he is taken along as a pawn. I just rewatched his season and he is in the running for WOAT. He is funny as **** 'cause he is such an epic moron but he is so bad at the game it is amazing.

Coach hugging and groping Boston Rob's ass after they won the puzzle challenge was pretty funny considering his man crush on him.

yeah Coach is pretty awful. I gotta admit though, I like him slightly better this season. playing just as poorly, but far less annoying.

Rob would never let coach and jerri get to the top 4 together unless C&J started hating each other.

After reading this thread and seeing the Russell hype, but not really seeing what all the fuss was about this season I decided to go and watch all of Samoa for the first time in the last couple days. Dude is a complete beast and its a joke that he didn't win. He has to be the GOAT at beating weak players. He absolutely bulldozes them. I'm still not sure how well he will do this year against better players and in a non-leadership role, but it will be awesome to watch.

Russell is easily the most overrated player in the history of the game, but he's still quite bright. His obstacles will be his ego and the jungle craziness that seems to have started taking him halfway through Samoa and has continued this season. He needs some self-awareness before he's gonna win anything.

For a survivor pool with my friends, beside the regular rules we've added this one :

X/2 point per individual camera interview with a X point cap per episode, each point must be separated by at least one commercial break.

X is the number of remaining players.

We thought it would add more suspense for fantasy teams who lost early some of their members.

1) What do you think of this rule ?

2) Do you have any idea where i could find official numbers of "individual camera interviews" per player per episode ?

PS : Our spreadsheet is here : https://spreadsheets.google.com/ccc?...VR2VTeVE&hl=fr

Currently Tom/JT/Russell/Coach/Rob are the most valuable players according to my rules.
