You have an advantage that loses most of its power when someone else knows about it and... you tell someone about it right before you use it.

Omar can really struggle to get through final 4 immunity/firemaking

Drea turned on Maryanne. She had to go. Good riddance. Then she even had the gall to say she wants the privileged white woman to win. Just disgusting on so many levels.

Because he's really really good at this game. The players in the game don't realize how good he is.

It was overdone and then went cornball cheezy. Come on Jeff, have some ****ing balls and say the words yourself. There needs to be some level of decorum. In an instant it went from Survivor to Amazing Race - Family Edition. Just stupid as hell.

Sure, if you want Drea to win the game then that would be a great move.

To all the people that thought Hai would win this game, he showed his true colors once again tonight saying that you should always choose to swap. The guy can talk the talk and make you think he knows what he is doing but in reality he is just a gigantic fish that doesn't really know how to think critically. He's the table captain with the big ego that thinks he knows everything but all the Euro pros always change to his table to play with him..

yiiiiiikkkkkkesssss

She's going to be kicking herself forever that was an epic mistake telling Omar. Lots of good play and advantages flushed with one slip up overplay. Steal the idol, immediately play it on yourself and move on. People will probably start LiVe TrIbAliNg and let you pick the boot anyway after you shake things up. Would also play super well for the jury when you blindside every player with your big move. This game has got to be tough with 0 food etc because you see so many stupid decisions by seemingly smart players every season.

Decision time for Omar, keep the idol or get booted.
Mike- Idol
Marryanne- Idol
Lindsay- Idol
Johnathan- 80% chance at immunity
Romeo- Goat, would be a horrible boot 6th

Agree with what another poster said about Lindasy looking hot. She came accross really well this episode. Wouldn't mind her, Omar or Johnathan winning.

Legit lol'ed at the shot of the jury all whispering to Lindsay to swap, except for Roxroy whispering "stay" like he knows what's up. God bless him, he's terrible at every aspect of this game.

Also LOL at Romeo being the only other one to vote Mike. That guy is just so out of the loop. He's probably the only goat left in the season.

drea has to come back. she was freaking great.
even though omar's play worked, do you think it was a bit FPSy? like, if he didn't do a thing he'd take out mike and mike would still vote for him in the end I think. by getting in the way of the vote he has an enemy in drea and if they hear what she said, more will be suspicious (even though this last point is not really relevant because he couldn't have known she'd do that).

it seems like his gameplay is so good no one really thinks he'll backstab them, so I'll give her the benefit of doubt because my opinion on that may be biased as a viewer.

wait wuh
is he stupid for saying something smart?

also, for every lindsay who picks wrong there's at least 100 ex survivor players kicking themselves for not being the one to make that choice. fishbach would have a whole speech on the monty hall problem.

Yeah, but my point is why would he want the white woman to win?!?

Was she?

Amulet: died in her pocket
Idol: burned needlessly for non game related reasons
Knowledge is power: played wrongly
Extra vote: used at a hopeless time
Social game: gave up key information for nothing and got blindsided
Challenge ability: nothing
Strategic game: barely shown
Confessionals: non existent
Tribal council bon mots: never

Come backs should be reserved for people who you really feel got a bad break away from winning or are incredible personalities; she had multiple great breaks and didn't even make F6, and was kind of a zero personality wise all season. No real desire to see her again.

Also didn't care for the knowledge bomb drop on her exit. One quick sentence in the heat of the moment is one thing, but her blowing up multiple people's games showed just how gracious and fine she really was with being blindsided.

Damn those woke contestants being scared to vote out the black woman out of fear of being caused racist.. Oh wait no as you were

If Lindsay manages to clinch a win for me it will be the most impressive winning game since Kim Spradlin.
Shes great at all 3 facets of the game - physical, social and strategic

Omar is only great at the latter 2 which is why he should be in a lot of trouble in the final 4 and final 5 rounds

(Edit - Other than her butchering the monty hall problem)

Okay I'll call it right now - one of the black women wins. It's an agenda now. Plus, if there are three black people on the jury it's totally obvious all three will automatically vote for the one remaining black person. It has nothing to do with how good they are at the game. And that sucks IMO.

Anyone else remember when they split the tribes one season on racial lines and nobody even blinked an eye?
Down to one runner left now in your agenda claim

One runner that has zero target on her back and everyone thinks they can drag to FTC and get an easy win. Then she plays the same racial card and tugs at the heartstrings and she gets handed a million dollars.

If I have to hear one more Monty Hall comment….

It makes no difference if you stay or switch. The whole thing is a long con by some folks.

Only if Probst picks one of the other two at random to open without caring which of the three had the flame. But I'm assuming that had she not picked the flame to begin with he opens the losing one of the remaining two 100% of the time, so therefore she should have switched.

Monty Hall works as follows:

1) Probst knows which one contains the flame
2) Contestant picks one
3) Probst opens one of the other boxes that doesn't have the flame
4) Offers switch

Whether she initially picks flame or not, Probst is always opening one of the other two boxes that doesn't have the flame.

I have to say it was actually REALLY misleading of Jeff, when he said "OK, now I'm going to reveal one of the other two boxes." without indicating that he would be revealing one of the skulls.

In the Monty Hall problem, the contestant is made aware that Monty will be revealing a losing door.

If Lindsay was under the impression that Jeff was just revealing a box at random and that it was totally possible for him to reveal the skull, then technically it wouldn't matter if she switched or not.

As shown, it wasn't really the Monty Hall problem because of this small but vital omission.

If Jeff had pulled that **** line on me, I would've asked him to clarify if he was going to be revealing a skull no matter what.

Kinda crazy that both seasons, the player has just happened to pick the box with the flame and then stuck with their gut, even when it defies the odds. I guess the live reads are just on point out there
