I am in for that. Can’t stand Dee/Julie. Always hate the people who refer to themselves as a parent to the other survivors. Barf!

I give Jake some points for his plan to force a tie and vote out Julie and keep Kaleb. That's the only attempt anyone has made to go against the Reba 4. It was a great idea. Loses points for not being able to execute. But LOL at getting Katurah to make a move she thought might reduce her chances of voting Bruce out ASAP.

- she is never a threat in any challenge
- she is fixated on getting someone out, not because they're any remote threat but just because she finds him annoying and despite the fact that everyone else also finds him annoying, she can't make it happen
- even last night, she's left out of the Kellie blindside

Like...has she done anything right at all?
since I posted this:

1) her potential alliance tries to bring her in, and instead she runs to the actual controlling alliance to say here's how to blow us up
2) she gave up in a challenge because she was afraid of a 2 foot fall into water
3) she finally saw her nemesis go, but it's seen as entirely the work of someone else

I've never seen someone so bizarrely focused on this one person for kind of no actual reason. It's not like he put her name down or gunned for her and she can't let it go - he's actively trying to work with her.

Also - the whole "no contact with mom" thing seemed fake to me. I would assume Survivor doesn't just randomly go to relatives of their choice to say "can you send a letter?". I'd assume they ask the contestants "who's your loved one visit/letter if you make it that far, and even if they do pick, Katurah would have mentioned "don't contact my mother we are on bad terms".

I have a hard time believing that somebody afraid of water would even get cast on the show. Or want to go on it, knowing that a water challenge would obliterate them. She's definitely one of the oddest cast members in a while in terms of why the producers even chose her besides her skin color.

I thought her water fear was because her arms were dead tired from the challenge and she thought she wouldn't be able to swim.

She's horrible at the game but I dunno if she'd even be top 3 worst casting choices this season. We had 2 quitters and Brandon.

I didn't say she was bad, just odd. But I had also forgotten completely about Brandon.

I'm wondering if they will even have the quitters at the finale.

Even more bizarre to me is people who go on The Challenge and are afraid of water or can't swim very good. Because on THAT show, unlike on Survivor, the challenges are the primary game. Enzo from Big Brother most likely cost Desi Williams from Survivor a Challenge USA victory because he couldn't swim...in a life vest.

I didn't really get this sense - she was freaking out very early in the challenge (IIRC at the second level, where they would have been in the challenge for under 10 minutes). I also don't recall her being especially scared of water earlier so I dunno what it was - maybe just some kind of weird panic attack from the stress of the game or whatever.

I thought it may be connected to her getting that weird letter from her mother that she doesn't speak to.

Also Katurah's background is insane, probably one of the craziest things that's ever been said on the show, felt horrible for her.

This show is so sus. Austin and drew know Julie is playing the idol but they stick with the plan and don’t switch vote to Dee? Sus

Why would Austin vote Dee? That’s a crazy question. A better one is why didn’t Julie vote Austin?

I thought that was a really entertaining episode.

What's surprising about this?

Austin won't vote Dee out because he wants to smash her. Honestly she's playing the best game, with Drew second.

Julie basically did what Dee told her to do, Julie played the idol but I see it as Dee's move tbh.

I don't understand, why didn't Austin and Drew just decide between the 2 of them to both vote for Emily? Then, even if Julie is planning on screwing Austin, the vote would be 4 Julie, 2 Emily, 1 Austin and Emily goes home.

Austin not playing his idol + letting Julie have 100% control of who goes home is insanely ballsy

Some of the worst gameplay I’ve seen at this point in a season. All around terrible. It was very apparent Julie was going to play Austin’s idol.

Drew could’ve pulled off an all time blind side on Austen after he absolutely tanked his plan on Julie.

I’m not rooting for anyone on this cast anymore. Drew blew it!

Austen STINKS!!!!!!!

So, Austin is so close to Dee he can't blindside Julie without telling Dee, but he's going to then blindside Dee? THAT would be pretty sus.

Drew doesn't want to vote out Emily. Emily is his piece. Austin wants Emily gone because she's Drew's piece. They are not on the same page on Emily. Julie and Austin are both Dee's pieces, and apparently Julie listened to Dee's plea for reason to not vote emotionally. I mean, if Julie votes out Austin, Drew and Emily are still in the game with Katurah and Jake fully willing to play with him against Julie and Dee. So, besides removing Austin from Dee, how does it benefit Julie to get rid of someone who is in a threesome with her while she remains the target of EVERYONE else.

If Julie votes out Austin, very good chance she torpedoes her and Dee's games. Still, for Austin to count on Julie being reasonable in this spot is insanely risky. Did he not see her crazy eyes? The correct play was for Dee and Austin to vote for Emily. Dee voting Julie so Julie could pretend to be mad at her afterwards is just dumb.

Also, I thought the whole game just got blown up when Austin didn't play his idol. Because I DID see Julie's crazy eyes. I don't know how Austin and Dee remained so sure she wouldn't spite vote him out and cost them all the game. Self preservation is not everyone's strong suit.
