He seems like when things are going great, he's this lovable sweet guy and that would come across in casting. Also looked surprisingly capable physically in the athletic parts of the challenge. Just can't always predict what will happen when someone finds themselves in the game and how they'll react mentally.

I'm glad Kenzie didn't get the axe, but Q is losing points for trying to turn Bhanu into an asset. And also for insulting Phillip Shepherd. I get Q probably feels threatened by Kenzie because the horrible player who got voted out episode prior said Kenzie threw his name out there. But Kenzie is rational at least, and if Tiffany thinks she's in good with her, that's probably more control of a potential asset than he could ever hope to have over Bhanu. Bhanu obviously can't play in any helpful way and is going to tell all the secrets. At minimum, Kenzie has value as someone to be thrown under the bus ahead of himself, and could potentially be a lot more valuable down the road. Why do people want to play with grenades?

I doubt he's seriously considering working with Bhanu. Just showing him some empathy and giving him some hope so he doesn't melt into a puddle during challenges and at camp. Also nothing wrong with keeping a line open just so Bhanu tells him if Kenzie tries some kind of move against him.

Didn’t Q basically say as much during one of his confessionals? Might have been right after their chat at the water barrel.

I think main reason Q is threatened by her (or SHOULD be) is that his #1 ally in the game appears to be as close to her as she is to him. And he can’t be confident that Tiff would side with him over her when push comes to shove.

Yeah that tribe was terrible and definitely worse than the purple tribe this season, but not by a whole lot. This purple tribe is terrible as well.

Its okay for him to be threatened by her...just not to the point he aligns with Bhanu instead. Kenzie is an actual asset despite also being more threatening. Bhanu is not an asset. He's looking to win a million hearts, not help himself or Q win a million dollars. He's paranoid, irrational, and spills all the secrets. In addition, he's a sweet sweet man. Other people may want to adopt him as their pet, and might be more savvy than to tell him he can be their Phillip. Bhanu is a bomb. As much as I'd rather see what Kenzie can do in the game, a small part of me was sad Q didn't manage to axe her in lieu of Bhanu so I could watch Q have to lie in the bed he made.

I think the game Q is trying to play is to make Bhanu a loyal sidekick, because if he sticks around then he will be an auto vote however you like kind of a la Julie last season for Dee. But he doesn't know that Bhanu spilled all the beans to other tribes already without even blinking. Could be a grenade that goes off in Q's face.

Tiff is one of my front runners currently because she has a good alliance but you can tell she's playing her own game without too much loyalty, which is often what kills you in Survivor.

Very dumb

If the injury is on their tribe that's one thing

But another tribe's injury saves them from sending someone home? Lame
If they are doing a tribe swap they need to keep the numbers even.

Bhanu might be smarter than us all in that, upon quickly realizing he was drawing dead, decided to do anything and everything to win some of the Sia $$

If the tribe swap isn't directly after the next elimination they could still do medical evac + tribal.

Based on the previews, I don't think we're seeing a tribe swap next ep.

Despite saying he's not an actor, he's an actor, so maybe?

I would imagine he is just likely just portraying an exaugurated version of himself for tv. The delivery of his Mermaid Dragon confessional being a prime example.

I don't think his meltdowns are 'faked', but I'm sure he's aware that the meltdowns are guaranteed to give him a decent amount of screentime.

As I've said before Survivor is not like a super high roller mtt where the sole aim is to win as much $ as possible as much as super fans like to analyse it as such.

People always have and always will go on these types of reality tv shows for many different goals;

The actual Survival aspect, the five minutes of tv fame, to improve their social media following, to market themselves to then parlay into their personal business's, to try and be a fan favourite , to try and get asked to play again, to try and be an all time villain, to find themselves, to represent a minority, to meet lifelong friends, to find love.

We can go after Bhanu all we want but so far he's the 'main character' of this cast, so he's doing something right.

Then again, people who become actors tend to be on the dramatic side anyways.
