Also why didnt malcolm pull somone like cochran or andrea aside. And be like listen we have all thre idols. We have the power you dont vote with us we vote you out. They can save an idol(both if done right although they can get releveled by that person just telling the whole alliance to vote for one of the two) this way.

Phillip actually took one for the team to tell them to continue to vote like that probably because he knew he was going home and wanted to make sure this did flush both idols out. Erik voted for Phillip.

First thing that should be discussed is why there was a 2nd HII idol in play. I was always under the impression that the # of idols in play was = to the # of tribes. The whole thing reeks of changing the game in order to simulate drama/ratings gain.

As far as Malcolm's decision to show everyone the idols, I initially hated it and would have preferred to see a blindside, but I think he made the right decision. It's more important to create disharmony amongst the SRUS, and have everyone begin to draw lines in the sand right in front of everyone else in their alliance. I liked it.

Phillip wasn't a FTC threat but he was the glue holding the SRUS alliance together. WP by Malcolm overall. And lol to anyone who thought he didn't need to use his idol. He was 1 vote away (Erik's random vote for Phillip) from getting voted out otherwise

Cochran and Andrea could just then agree with their plan (assuming they consider the given SRUS target expendable) and put the 4-3 split votes on Malcolm/Eddie anyway to ensure that both have to use their idols during TC and be at no risk of their own since the br0s will be under the assumption that they are cooperating

Similar to the Yul/Penner scenario in Cook Islands where Yul insinuated that they would vote out Penner with the overpowered idol if he didn't vote with them at f9. All Penner had to do in that spot was to agree to cooperate with Yul and then force him to play that idol during TC anyway, by making the vote 5-4 against him and not having to worry about the other 4 votes since Yul would be under the mistaken assumption that Penner was cooperating

Vtchess: if their plan was too play both idols anyway then 100% they should show them at tribal to cause a rift. Theres zero gain ,other than maybe the sru alliance getting some amazing gif reactions, to not showing them if they plan on playying both.

They need to get everyone in scramble mode. Agree or not, Fillup was running the show in terms of loyalty to SRUS. Now they can fracture the remaining 6, pick up two swings and they take control.

Several SRUS members were whispering Andrea's name during the chaos, if that gets out that should create a crack in the alliance

These people are not phil. Andrea has been shown to run on emotions. Cochran doesnt want to go home like this either.

Yea they fluah out idols but for the risk of going home? 100% andrea will start making moves diverting from the 4-3 split.

If they really wanted too, play both idols anyway, but nake sure the whole tribe knows you have them pre tribal so they can have time to discuss. They may still end up splitting but guaranteed word gets around that x wants y gone and that cause future problema the 3 amigos can work with

The alternate scenario is that Andrea and Cochran tell the rest of SRUS the newsand they simply cut loose the most expendable member of the alliance, most likely Sherri, refuse to cooperate with the br0s and make them waste their idols for seemingly no gain as the core group of 6 would still remain solid
