really? i thought the harvey backstory was disappointing and the mike/louis plot was sort of predictable- when they show harvey/mike's plan to get louis on camera you know it's not going to work just standard TV

as far as mike/rachel go its just sort of a dumb speedbump for them, its pretty obvious theyre going to eventually get together

edit: i still liked it but i think best ep of the series is kinda stretching it, especially with how strong the last few have been

Good finale.... kind of wish they weren't already bringing it to Jessica's attention that Mike went didn't go to law school.

Decent chance that doesn't actually happen imo. They need to hurry up and have Mike and Rachel get together. I'm in love with her.

The actress playing Rachel was also on 2 episodes of Fringe, they introduced her and made it seem she was gonna be a part of the show and then nothing.

I just don't see how Trevor would rat out Mike, he put Mike in tough spots and was bailed out by him, yeah, he is banging your ex but oh well.

Donna and Rachel being in the same room for such a long period of time was major sensory overload. I don't know if I can handle that again.

I do feel like the finale wasn't as good as the last few episodes. I feel like the show isn't it's best when Harvey isn't the on top of the ball during the episode.

Thinking about it.. I think you guys are right, in that Trevor won't say anything about law school... but is obviously going to tell something to Jessica. What is he going to tell her? About selling drugs? or maybe something we don't know about?

Donna and Rachel in the same room was awesome I think they do an excellent job with Donna.. making her seem like the Harvey of the secretary world.

Donna is an A+ supporting character. The mystery of the can opener is just perfect and they have built her role up over the course of the season well.

Great episode. I assume the ending is just a swerve and Jessica wont be told about Mike, it would put the show into a weird situation where she would have to fire Mike (which they basically cant cos it would mean rebooting the entire show more or less) or they have her undermine one of the core principles of the company and end up taking a ridiculous risk that she just plain wouldnt be inclined to do by taking on a guy with no law school education who lied on his application and yadda yadda.

At a guess he will leverage an advantage for himself (its no coincidence he works at a law firm right now) or he was going to tell her and then decide at the last minute not to and be a good friend to Mike, maybe saying Mike helped him by being a great friend and getting him out of the destructive lifestyle or summit. Or some odd combo of the two where he ends up working at Pearson Hardman.

If he isnt going to mention law school he isnt going to mention Mike used to sell drugs. The outcomes of either reveal are basically identical except the second could get Mike up on criminal charges.

Trevor is such a terrible character, show needs to ditch him and make it about Mike and Harvey having law adventures while Rachel and Jenny fight over Mike and commiserate with Donna.

Also, I thought Louis was going to grow a spine last night and get himself made partner, which I think would be good for the show, but then he was like "butnahhh."

I crack up everytime there is a scene in Louis' office because he has a bunch of framed pictures of himself everywhere.

I thought it was a strong finale. Def looking forward to season 2.

One possible blooper I noticed was when Rachel returned Mike's Iphone, he was sat at his desk listening to his (apple) earphones as usual - kinda -EV to have both an Iphone and an MP3 player? He looks genuinely stumped that his Iphone is placed down beside him.

I liked the finale, but the cliffhanger is plainly horrible. This is what every weaksauce show does.

Now we are here speculating about what Trevor is going to say. We know he wont be telling the law school thing, so I am not in a rush to see the second season (dont get me wrong, I am looking forward to it), because this season is basically full closure.

If they had made the last scene about the talk between Jessica and Trevor and we would know the details, then I would probably be speculating what the new story lines will be, etc.

This is what pisses me off about the show. It has great potential and is entertaining, but they always fall back on things terrible shows would do instead of having the courage and distinguishing themselves from the ****ty rest.

And to further comment on the last scene. How realistic is it for some nobody in a suit to walk up to an office and get the owner for a talk. Without him saying "Mike didnt go to law school, I was his best friend, he did x,y and z.", he would be blown off.

He might have been listening to the computer, possibly transcribing audio rather than listening to music. Ive only seen him using earbuds while sat at the computer.

The worst part was the three second build up to Trevor's decision. Pick up phone happy, hear message, raaaagggeee that leads into a decision that is could, supposedly, change the whole game. This was pretty much a normal serial episode with a season final tacked on. That is pretty much my only complaint though. The show has gotten pretty good with a good supporting cast, good chemistry and a good vibe to it imo. For a summer show it isn't too bad. I was worried they would do little "gotcha" scenes with Louis and Mike for the season, but I'm glad they backed off of it. This little Trevor goes behind Mikes back is just a cheap TV trick that is always pulled off, as you already said.

It'd be awesome if there is a huge twist and Jessica finds out about Mike, fires him, Harvey quits and so he and Louis decide to start their own law firm. No one would see it coming.
