Another ok episode last night. So far I feel like the premise of the show isn't going to get much stronger..and the success of the show will rely on how good the interaction will be between Harvey and Mike.

I think the case of the week plots are a bit crappy, but the characters are good enough to keep me watching.

I agree.

I do want Harvey to punch Lipke at some point this season though.

Countless cop shows have used this premise, most recent example probably "The Chicago Code".

Although I don't think this is a partners (mentor/protege) show so much as a partners (experienced/fish-out-of-water) show, where one is the amazing at the job and the other doesn't know anything about it but leapfrogs up the ranks given his (usually criminal) background and/or preternatural abilities.

There are also countless examples of that type of show, including of course USA's White Collar.

I haven't seen either of those shows. Are they worth grabbing?

This show is kind of a guilty pleasure to me; Its kind of lame and cliched, but I want to keep watching.

Chicago Code was pretty meh at first but the last few eps were good. Unfortunately it was too late and the series got canceled after just 13eps. I wouldn't bother watching it.

I like Suits, it's fast paced, nice style, good interaction between characters, and they come up with good ways to *** someone over when needed.

edit - White Collar is excellent, Chicago Code was just an OK time waster.

show has potential, it's summer, therefore it's bearable.

Those two!

A few cringe worthy moments. I mean the show started out with an always annoying mistake:
"I check"
"I raise 5000"

I will keep watching it until something better comes around. It annoys me when they walk in circles while trying to own each other, that's never the case in Mad Men, so dont do it.

It was a pretty solid episode. For me, I think the show is more about Harvey than Mike and his relationship with Harvey. I still don't think this show will ever be as good, to me, as White Collar has become.. but I think it's exceeding the expectations I put on it after the first couple of episodes.

Now that you mention it.. it is kind of annoying that a guy that has total recall, doesn't just take a night and learn anything that might be really important.

Not knowing where you get pizza on campus makes sense, the harvard song one is something one of you yanks would have to answer, did you know there was a harvard song? Is it common knowledge and is it realistic he wouldnt have thought to look it up? Id assume yes on the last question, but iono.

It's only 2 things that he has missed. Where to get square pizza is just one of those things you don't know unless you go there. Yeah, he should of learned the song but I doubt he thought people will be singing it in the office.

He has shown he knows all the technical points of Harvard but none of the personal.

Sure the show has its shortcomings, but they can be easily overlooked since it's so entertaining.

Spoiler:
Curious to see when we'll see the first episode that doesn't conclude with a neat, happy feel-good ending.

A lot of cringe worthy moments in the last episode. The story line doesnt really make sense to me, why would he blow his cover so quick?

I was nodding off towards the end of the episode, but i didn't understand how towards the end:

Spoiler:
the paralegal deduced mike was the test master and hated him for it.
