the foreshadowing for Kendall to be the "blood sacrifice" was just too much. I mean, they straight up said his name after the comment.

Would be wild if Logan was playing a long game, helping Kendall and keeping him close, so he could throw him to the wolves when it best suited him. Would be the ultimate revenge for Kendall trying to take over in S1.

This is what I see. I thought the acting and storyline was pretty amazing with the guy dieing in the car. Logan seemed deep down pretty pleased he had Kendell's nuts in a vice and can use him any way he pleases now.
Having Kendell go with him to the parent's house to just wait around was pure evil genius. All Logan has to do is get Kendell alone for 5 seconds, make a subtle comment to remind him of the crash, and Kendell will take the fall and go to prison if necessary.
For entertainment value it has to be Tom. Just imagine the lols to see him get grilled even more, probably with Greg turning his back on him on the top of it. Shiv not really commiting to save his ass either because of her relationship with her dad and her plans to take over the company would be pretty interesting too.
Kendall is already dead inside by now, what'd be the fun seeing him hit rock bottom yet again.

I think it was recent. His gf saying Logan only likes him weak + calling the kid he killed a "no real person" + saying he wasn't a killer, and then the last minute text from the producer "your dad is watching"
I believe Kendall has been thinking about this from the time he was brought back into the family fold by Logan. He was biding his time...all season, he's been completely subservient to Logan and his wishes, setting up his final betrayal.
