Succession - New HBO show - Page 8 - OOTV -- Two Plus Two Poker Forums

There are so many little parts to this show that make it awesome. For ex. I loved when Logan giggled out loud at Roman making fun of their mom's cooking. It was legitimately the first time I remember him ever laughing, and you could see even Roman and Kendall were taken aback by it.

I also love Tom's delivery of his lines... like when Greg said, "But the envelope says receipts" and Tom said, "OOOH, but they AREN'T, IN FACT, RECEIPTS!" The actor is so good at playing the combination of pathetic neediness and mean-spirited bully. It's tough to pull off but he does it perfectly.

Not sure if it was itt that it was stated but I was mind blown when I discovered that the actor playing Tom is an award winning British stage actor.

The Tom actor is absolutely phenomenal, it’s close to impossible to pull off that character, let alone be British and have no accent.

Show is absolutely incredible.

Glad a stumbled upon this thread. Was hyped by the shows original trailers but didn't end up watching til a few months ago.

Show was not at all what I expected it to be which was disappointing at first, but love it now for what it is.

Its almost like it was another set up. Why were they even asking Shiv in the first place? She's not part of the company and from what I remember they weren't privy to Logan offering to her.

Ya Logan did he didn't want bothered but Kendall and Rome are actually in the company.

Def more Murdochs bc of their line of business, and they have zero dealings in real estate and very little in politics (really just Shiv).

Plus even though they're all tragically comic (or comedically tragic) in their own way, Logan isn't as much of a comic relief in the way that the rest of them are,
whereas Trump is the by far the most comic relief of his whole family/ administration.

Although I'm sure the show was pitched as Murdochs, but with the the wacky dysfunction of the Trumps.

I presume that Greg is going to get shafted as well. When he announced at the start of the episode that he had effectively given up his inheritance that seemed like some major foreshadowing.
