Amazing how this show hit its stride. I went from being disappointed through the first 3-4 episodes to being fully engaged on the ride they took us through.

Yeah, this just got better and better.

Logan is so....evil. Kendall has the desire but not the balls. Roman is a scared little boy trying to prove he doesn't care. Shiv is the only "normal" one, but geeze she's got issues, too. Connor wanting to be President was hilarious.

Loved Tom making Nate pour the wine back in the bottle.

And Greg's probably the most sociopathic of them all.

I can't wait for Greg Egg GOAT to get more power than Tom. Will be amazing. I've also written a scene in my head where Tom tries to convince Logan that they can use Greg as the fall guy for the Bad Sex Stuff and Logan looks at him incredulously. "You want to use my nephew as the fall guy? My nephew? Who the **** do you think you are? Why do you think you're more valuable to me than my own nephew?"

I shut he pilot off halfway through but after hearing about the 180, I gave it another shot. Knocked out all 10 after starting yesterday. Show is excellent!! And they need to put Shiv wedding dresses every episode!!

Yeah I've had that theme music in my head all goddamn week. And this has been the first hourlong HBO show in forever that I've been like excited about watching, I was legit bummed last night when I realized there was nothing on HBO last night. Oh great, Ballers. Fine.

The theme is almost as captivating as GOTs. Greg is my favorite and reminds me of Jared from SV. Conner is becoming a close second. I really hope he starts pushing his presidency .

Watched this over the weekend. Really enjoyed it. Very funny and the acting is great across the board.

I do wish they made Logan's character less of an irredeemable a-hole. Guys like Tony Soprano or even Don Corleone still had a likeable streak and you believed they loved their family even when they did evil things. Logan Roy, not so much.

the actor who plays the brother Ewin and Brian Cox don't seem to ever age. Ewin was in LA Confidential like 20+ years ago and was old then.

James Cromwell. He's definitely looked 80 since the late 90s. Brian Cox however I would've said looks to be in his early 70s, but on Succession he definitely is playing 80 pretty well.

So Cousin Greg is Logan Roy's great nephew. Hmmmm, have there been any other great nephews in history who have unexpectedly inherited great wealth and power over an empire? Another great nephew who was constantly underestimated by those who stabbed a great patriarch in the back and looked to gain his power for themselves?

It fits imo. Cousin Greg is Octavian, constantly underestimated and misjudged, who inherits his great uncle Caesar's name and fortune, and seizes his empire. And exacts vengeance upon those who ended Caesar's reign.

Reading this thread start to finish is amazing. The turnaround was legit.

I stuck with it too because I had such high hopes. Could watch Greg & Tom interact all day.

I wonder if the writers noticed their chemistry as they continued to shoot and gave them even more to work with.
