Roman and Shiv both know about the waiter after the last season finale. Honestly seemed like something Shiv might have thought of bringing up in the “if you **** me” moment.

I cant believe I have to dumb this down but ok... Why type a letter and then underline something months/years later...

I get changing your mind and crossing it out, sure. But Logan would never underline something he wrote and that he still agreed with.

Yeah. "I know I wrote Kendall, but I really really meant Kendall"

Last week's episode might've been more masterfully done, but this was just a tour de force, with amazing stuff from so many characters. And yeah, put me firmly in team cross out.

I just hope that the little stumble doesn't somehow mean Shiv isn't pregnant anymore. My guess is it won't affect it, not only because the show wouldn't be so pedestrian but also since Snook was preggers during filming so you kind of need to keep it as part of the show.

Since we are dumbing things down I'll go next......

Billionaires (at least the ones I hang with regularly) would not hang their suit jacket on the back of their chairs and suddenly take an interest in newspaper math puzzles in their 70s.

So... maybe the edits were made by someone else?

This is also really confusing to me. When they said that, I thought he had written Kerry's name, then I thought Gerri's name. Now I don't know...

Yeah I didn't think about Shiv or Roman using it, but I guess they could as well. Not sure why I forgot that they knew, I've watched the season 3 finale a couple times now.

wasn't feeling this one too much. a lot of pretty boring, pointless conversations. some weird character stuff. greg with a ridiculous lack of self-awareness (seemed like he'd been getting better in this regard), carl shitting on tom like that felt out of character, the whole kerry scene was ridiculous, "the letter" is a classic sitcom premise, etc. i hate most of these people, can they start getting ****ed over already? begin with greg, please. or shiv. but she already seems on the road to getting boned over by kendall/roman, so that's cool

wonder what kind of plan tom is gonna come up with, after trying and failing to suck up to literally everyone. might need to start over with one of the other players.

do we know who knocked up shiv? feel like i don't remember anything that happened in s3...

Huh? Kendall straight up told Roman and Shiv. Logan's security guys also know.

Well if it is - then I think that brings Shiv and Tom closer together again for team Shiv to take the reigns. Tom is an asset whichever team he is on.

Same I thought it was Gerri initially then he showed it to her and thought maybe not her

I’m hoping the waiters death doesn’t come into play at all. It would fit with their statuses and we’ve gotten plenty out of it. At least in regards to the sibs.

I think if Greg or Tom catch wind of it… that could certainly be something.

...Marcia has a child??

Loved her cold-ass response to Kerry.

The way that the siblings dismissed it at the end of season 3 particularly Roman maybe that was the writers putting the final cross through it if I can use that from the last episode.

if some kind of image problem brings kendall down, i'd prefer it came from his move last night of sewering logan's reputation and claiming the last couple years of waystar moves, instead of the waiter thing. there should easily be more stuff like the cruise lines in there that can be hung on kendall now

but using the waiter thing would fit with how these idiots keep hitting each other in the worst ways. or yeah, tom/greg using it. and speaking of leaks and other stuff i don't remember, that black woman that greg was talking to at the wedding, i saw someone say somewhere that she's a journalist. if so the implication might be that's how the news of logan's death got out (the scene cut off abruptly/purposely after she asked greg if logan was coming to the wedding)

(have we even seen him?)

always thought they were gonna be a bigger part of this

also, where is logan's brother already? isn't he also a big player in this, a board member, etc? or did he sell everything?

I could see Ken and Roman screwing Shiv just enough for her to let it slip to Tom then him recruiting Greg to do… something with it. Or just Ken screwing Roman and Shiv so they let it slip. You have to get Greg back in mix somehow. At this point, he’s just an annoyance and unless there’s a path to the top or a slide to the bottom of the bottom, I’m pretty much over him being a player at all lol

That is the opposite of my reaction to that being used as recently as five episodes ago. That tells me the storyline lives and will come up again.

I totally agree with you there. The suit jacket and puzzle were not throw away comments.

I think we are arguing different points and we are lost in translation. Yes, the edits most definitely could have been made by someone else.

Keep in mind when it comes to Greg that we've yet to see or hear from Ewen. I'm thinking he'll factor into things somehow, no?

how much money is connor supposed to have that he can just torch off 63M on the condo and 100M more on his election?
Succession - New HBO show Quote

a couple billion? idk. they established that him blowing 100m on this hopeless presidential campaign wasn't a big deal, so i'm assuming he's fine unless he does more dumb stuff

I took that as a ceiling 100m war chest - either he spends 100m on his election or torches off 63m on the condo but not both but could be wrong - perhaps to keep him relevant to the storyline as we are reaching what election day he will spend that 100m on his election.

And what is the significance of Marcia just straight up accepting the 63m offer without like a counter offer of say 67m to settle at 65m? Is it because she appreciates Connor being the less problematic of all the siblings to Logan or at least who she perceives is the less problematic?

Yeah I didn't pick up on why she wasn't playing hardball at all with Connor either, but the way they framed it made it seem like it was supposed to mean something.
