Really interesting thing I'm finding is that when the show started I was prepared for Kendall to be the most ruthless, unethical scumbag amongst all of them, but he's the opposite. He is in fact the only one who consistently tries to do the morally right thing. Ironically, everyone realizes it and probably is what he can attribute to why he isn't as respected/ hasn't been handed over the reigns. It's tragicomedy.

So I didn't like the Greg character at first but then I started viewing him through the lens of he's like a young Dale Doback from Step Brothers who somehow finds himself in a viper's nest of corporate intrigue. Now he's my favorite.

im enjoying the show.

He had the outcome locked up, but he wasn't present for the vote and the old man didn't leave the room. Those are two variables he didn't factor in. I think it's safe to say if neither of those 2 things happen there isn't a split.

Usually in these types of shows the Logan-like character is more likeable. But he really just sucks. No clue where the show goes from here.

Or the Kendall or Rome character is likeable. But they all suck. Like suck totally. Kinda why I like it.

Also, i figured they were gonna get doublecrossed by the old assistant guy that was fired and rehired.

I have come to the conclusion that is an extremely predictable and mediocre television show. Sad to see how far HBO has fallen. I am trying to find justification not to just cancel it as the days of Sopranos/Deadwood back to back are long gone and there is nothing they offer that really captivates me anymore.

One thing I will say for this show that I found refreshing is that they didn't shoehorn in every stereotype in the world like every other new show seems to do. It's about rich white people and that is all you get. They didn't use the character check list that every other show seems to use nowadays. The obligatory racial minorities, mixed race couples, gay/trans characters. There is nothing wrong with those kinds of characters if they fit the story but generally they are only there for the sake of obligatory diversity. Here all we get is the Asian guy who fits the story perfectly.
