Add his bombing of Artie's restaurant to Silvio's violence list.

at the end of the series sil also killed that guy in their crew who was working with ny ... always forget his name

and of course helped with big puss

good that they'd occasionally remind us that he's also a violent criminal

don't think so

and actually that scene they flashback to later in s6 where chris tells tony in his basement was originally supposed to be in "long term parking" before ade gets killed, but supposedly imperioli & de matteo successfully lobbied chase to take it out to maintain some level of suspense, great decision

Once Adriana gets in the car with Paulie, they're supposed to be driving north to NY to see Chris in the hospital, but theres a clear shot of Paulie turning onto I-95 south toward Baltimore/DC. I knew for sure at that moment it was GG Adriana, but maybe I was supposed to know before that.
have always wondered when she figured it out

seemed like she didn't at first, then did at some point in the car, but then froze and kind of accepted it until just before it happened

I'd also like to know that. When Silvio first turns off the highway into the woods she doesn't seem shocked at all. Either she knows it's a possibility she's about to get hit, or she's in such a state of shock that nothing's really registering to her.

Really great acting by di Matteo in that episode.

Didn't she have at the start of an episode a sort of premonition that she was found out as being a rat? So it was partly on her mind that it was a possibility that they knew or at least would find out.

I was watching some season 2 episodes. I decided that Beansy deserved and Ritchie did nothing wrong.

Also I think the funniest moment in the entire show is when Carm says "Janice I thought you were a feminist" after learning that she let Ritchie **** her with a loaded gun to her head. Even better she was trying on a wedding dress at the time.

Beansy deserved to be attacked because he invested his drug profits in pizza shops?

Or for something else? Disrespect towards Ritchie? What specifically?

Yeah I mean he was forever indebted to Richie if Richie had set him up financially. But I mean Tony did have Beansie's back so that is something to consider but I think ultimately Richie's "stake" in Beansie trumps Tony's because of that financial investment Richie made.

Richie he set him up in the drug business. Richie was busted and got a 10 year piece, beansy didn't. After Richie got out, beansy sure as **** should have given Richie some big cash. Since Tony sided with his own interests/Beansy, he left Richie few options.

Disrespect and failure to take care of Ritchie. He should looked out for him esp once out of the can. That he never did anything for him while in jail shows beansy didn't care about him and wanted him to **** off.

Tony never paid his debts tho. Tony had no sense of fairness esp whe. His own interests were involved.

Are you saying everyone who disrespects somebody else deserves to be put in a wheelchair?

Any chance you work in the stairlift business?

idk, i'm not really getting the feeling that anything is actually owed to richie here

plus when you combine this with how beansy reacted, legit shocked & confused at being shaken down

like maybe kinda sorta going by the back in the day letter of the law, but not really actually

richie just being a dick bc he knows he can (that tony can't really stop him vs a civilian)

For better or worse, being in your feels over perceived disrespect is super standard and to be expected in the Sopranos universe. I mean they got like an entire seasons worth of material over Johnny Sac being self conscious about people ripping on his fat wife.

guy does 10 year in the can and Beansy offers him a veal parm sandwich? thats it!?! and then with that weak stuff about "well I asked about you". super disrespectful!

look, if your mixed up with the mob you gotta learn how to respect people and take care of them. Beansy was a slimeball that weaseled off with Ritchie's business. #teamRitchie

"200 grand for insulting my wife? What's next, HE GETS TO **** HER FOR A MILLION??"

Sirico revealed to The New York Times in 2007 that the sequence would have seen Christopher and Paulie happen upon Valery outside a bar, and proceed to shoot him to death. Creator David Chase removed the scene.
Quote:
“I think David didn’t like it,” Sirico said, adding: “He wanted the audience just to suffer.”

Speaking about Valery in a 2008 interview, Chase said: “OK, this is what happened. Some Boy Scouts found the Russian, who had the telephone number to his boss, Slava, in his pocket. They called Slava, who took him to the hospital where he had brain surgery. Then Slava sent him back to Russia.”
