Rewatching and in Season 3. There's certainly nothing subtle about how creepy the scene between Tony and Livia is where they just jumbled together old lines and CGId her face onto someone else's body.

Chase says has huge regrets about doing that.

Was there CGI? I had heard that before. I thought it looked like they used old outtakes for her lines, and a stand-in for her shown from behind during his.

Also, watched an old Law&Order last night from '97 where Uncle Jun popped up as a judge furious with Jack McCoy. GF and I agreed that it was one of the best L&O's we'd ever seen, even before he popped up at the end.

(Bail bondsman shot in his office at night, investigation uncovers corrupt lawyers colluding to fix cases.)

I guess it was technically digital compositing since they didn't animate her face with a computer or something. They took her face and lines from previous scenes and overlayed that onto a body double. And the lines fit so poorly that the whole scene is just one big incoherent mess.

I never thought "my cable went out!" in the famous finale...

But I did during the Carmela Super Slo Mo.

Ya and his names Gino as proven when the little bitch employee behind the counter asks 'Gino' what he can get his fat ass. There's no reason that would make any sense as to why they changed his name once he became a series regular.

Pussy had a different wife in S1E8 (Tennessee Moltisanti, when the indictment winds start blowing and they are all hiding evidence). Pussy is outside throwing documents on his grill and the woman standing next to him is a heavy-set woman with blondish hair, not the woman whose car Tony roughs up. Not sure if that's been mentioned but I rewatched that ep last night and noticed it.

Decided I'm doing a re watch, it's been a couple years I think. Watched episode 1, though there were some technical character problems of course with Adriana sil arty etc. it was still an EXCELLENT pilot. Lot of foreshadowing and really feel a strong general message for what the shows going to be about. That original idea is seen throughout the seasons.

Lucia: Would you believe somebody called here after dark last night

Tony: Who was it ?

L: I didn't answer it was after dark

My grandmother is Livia, it's just unreal how they nailed it. She's that age Italian from tri state suburbs.

I wonder if they would have killed Livia off if the actress hadn't died. Show would have been pretty different.

I mean clearly they weren't planning on killer her off that season

Def would have been way different, her death would have been a big deal not a forced abrupt patch up job (done well of course)
