(Just caught the most recent Detroit 187 on my DVR, Jerry "Hesh" Adler guest starred. He had a few tense scenes with Imperioli, but all I could hear was, "The man doesn't have the money." "How could he not have the money??" "The
man does not
have the money!" I love that Hesh guy.)
(BTW, D187 ep also included a murder case involving a poker player, which you guys might find of interest. Suspects included a Matusow-type, a Laak-type, etc. Pretty good on a technical level, like tourney chips aren't worth real money, players get massages while they play, home games thrive even in casino towns, etc. Funny twist was the detectives' frustration, knowing that their interviews were futile because they're talking to the greatest liars in the world, and while they make their living detecting lies, they knew they were completely outclassed by the poker elite. Unfortunately, you can't write a poker script without basing it on cheating. In this one, the masseuse was signaling hole cards.)
