Just surprising to me that Gandolfini was 36 when he filmed the pilot.

It occurred to me that we are talking about two different eps. Test Dream is indeed great. I was talking about the one right after Junior shot him, Join the Club. I just watched it again and it's not that bad really.

That episode was ruined for me by ESPN.com. I got up on Monday morning to watch the episode but before that I went to ESPN to check some scores. At that time they always had a poll on their front page and that morning the question was along the lines of "What was the most shocking event of the weekend?" I think one option was something from the NBA, another one a draw in the heavyweight championship fight between Hasim Rahman and James Toney and the last one about Tony Soprano in a coma. That made me really upset.

I rewatched 'Remember When' last night. When Paulie and Tony pull up to the hotel, they speak to a bellhop asking him about the hotel (they thought it was a different place they visited once before but the old hotel has been replaced by a newer modern one).

This is a very long, very worthless article I once regretted taking the time to read, but the one part I found interesting was the 8th paragraph, which includes about 30 links to photos of famous people and a few tv/movie scenes...that all include a chessboard set up incorrectly.
