I didn't necessarily like him but I didn't mind him. Also thought the scene with the mom was awesome.

i just was expecting there to be a bit more to his story but instead hes exactly as he was presented at the beginning. stepbrother is a jerk because his dad is a jerk. yawn

For some reason that Bob character tilted the **** out of me. His acting was so weird, his reactions totally out of place. And the way he died was just so loldumb, like anyone would just stand there when you know the demo-dogs can push through the door any second.

There were a bunch of other stupid decisions and things that felt forced that made this season less enjoyable for me. Will was A+ though.

well, it would be even more tilting if he did a steve redemption story arc aswell, all bad guys are really fluffy bears sorta thing.

Yeah Max's brother was pointless but the scene with Mike's Mom was great.

I liked Bob probably the most of any of the new characters.

yeah Im not talking he saves the day against the demon dogs, but was expecting some sort of twist like his family being involved with the research plant or something along those lines

S2 was great. Lol haters. Kid who played Will was amazing. Eleven GOAT.

Stepbrother was hilarious. Hope Nancy ends up with him.

Was it ever really explained why he was so intent on Max not hanging around with Lucas? I thought the whole point was that he DGAF what she does, because she's not his real sister, and just views her as a nuisance he has to give rides to.

just completed second season. I liked it better than the first season. I didn't even mind the trip to Chicago episode that a couple of my co-workers weren't fond of

Finished S2 tonight. Fantastic. Yeah, Episode 7 was an odd departure, but I understand what they were trying to do there (and it did play into the finale), so points for effort.

I really thought the acting all around was great. Will, especially, shined. Loved that the boys got their moments in the spotlight and I did actually like that Steve has become a "good guy" and one of the gang. My wife read something that he was originally just going to be the dick like he was in Season 1, but the directors/producers/whomever loved how nuanced the actor made the character that they wrote him up for Season 2.

Also, I'm a Hawkins Lab agent in this season, so that was fun. I make a few brief appearances.

Spent the past week odd binging through both seasons. Enjoyed it and like that this show has made it big rather than being forgotten and cancelled.

Unpopular opinion time but am I the only person that thinks Dustin sucks (at least comparatively to Mike, Lucas, Max, 11 and Will?). His acting and dialogue is just so bad so often and it seems to constantly keep taking me out of enjoying the horror aspects of the story line as he constantly no sells everything.

We had a mostly male central cast and it worked well and got great reviews, but for the next part what if we introduced a spunky redheaded girl to join the gang? She could be a tough girl type who takes no **** from anyone and she could have her own sad back story and could then join the crew going forward. What if she then had a slowly developed relationship with one of the two main best friend characters? Yeah that could work....

he can have her. She has the body of a 12 year old boy. Even Eleven has more curves

Agree with poster above about Dustin. Kid is annoying.

How about the beating that Billy put down on Steve? I remember watching that scene and thinking; wow, ya Billy would probably win this fight so it's cool that the writers didn't write in the typical good guy avenges the bad guy story arc between those two but the repetitive punches to Steve's face while he was down on the ground unconscious seemed excessive.

I watched "Beyond Stranger Things" and they mentioned that they were trying to give the viewer the feeling that Steve could possibly suffer serious irreversible injury from that fight. I guess they got that feeling across to me however I cracked up laughing though at the way they ended that scene with no mention of Steve or his well being and simply a pan over to Dustin or someone saying something similar to "We got Billy's keys. Let's go." after Max stabbed Billy in the neck with the syringe.

I dug Camaro Leto, wasn't a huge Female Rufio (Rufia?) fan.

Actually I was gonna say this, along with the bits with Steve, were his best parts in the show. In the times of peace he is really good. He would be a solid child actor in a Sandlot Kids type of movie.

It's just the utter unbelievability of the other parts, like the parts where he needs to constantly bring up the 'demadogs', or pretty much every single tense scene in season one.
