Yes, Gannicus is back! I have a total crush on him (semihomo). New Spartacus does not even come close to having the same swagger Gannicus has. Also, lol CGI arena collapse.

+1 on Gannicus! The dude is a str8 up stud, a mofo bad-ass; everything he does and says is money. now y the f*** couldn't they find someone like him to play the new Spartacus?

This episode was amazing, by far the best so far this season. I really hope that they will be able to keep up the quality from here on. Actually this episode the new Spartacus didn't bother me that much, probably b/c most of his body was covered up, lol...

New Spartacus basically killed it the entire episode. Loved all the plot lines and how they culminated in the arena. Great show.

Hell of an episode, best of the season so far

Gannicus is a great actor.

Some of the special effects when the arena was falling apart made me laugh though.

But what the **** is up with Spartacus? In season 1 he started out with that crazy will to live and then just ended up being really technically good at fighting, but now he is like a ****ing phantom or some ****?? The weapon throws are too much for me, and then I knew he was going to come in all ninja at the end there too. They've really gone overboard for me.

But anyways, amazing episode, no way you could deny this season is great now.

****, I knew he was going to die this episode. They couldn't let every gladiator live, and we knew Crixus and Doctore weren't going to die.

Naevia still sucks imo, but she wasn't in much of the episode so it was bearable.

He did the weapon throws way back in the pilot episode of Blood and Sand. Its always been his signature thing.

They are building this up really really well and the Glaber and Spartacus rivalry building is ****ing awesome.

True, and now that I think about it, it was one of the reasons the first episode of b&s was kind of laughable. But Spartacus did 2 weapon throws in a span of like 20 seconds this episode, with the spear throw being way too 300 for me in a show that has been compared to 300 since before its premiere.

I forgot how Gannicus really only cares about women and wine.

I love how Spartacus just burns with rage whenever he sees Glaber, and is willing to throw everything out the window to kill him. I am rooting for Glaber vs the other Romans though.

This was a pretty dynamite episode.

I think I'm on target. Only like 20 or so eps and with the first 4 of B&S being absolute garbage, I'm putting this in the top 3 right behind B&S last 2.
