Seeing Butters in the opening party scene (without any of the core 4) made me initially hope that the "top b*tch" was going to be his grandmom (from that episode a few seasons ago where she regularly beat the sh*t out of Butters.)

The new season has been ok so far but can anyone tell us all what that was all about? It had no laughs at all and whatever social message they were going for I totally missed ( Obv. opiod addiction.) Any insights?
