Kind of a lackluster season, I've been watching for 21 years (memba s1 e01 when I was 13?!) but it's approaching a simpsons point where it's either walk away or toil away in mediocrity. This ep did have some decent lols tho, credit where credit is due
Sure, there have been a slew of meh episodes in recent years (including this season). But Trey and Matt still somehow make at least 1-2 absolute A+ gems each year (including this season). That's what keeps me coming back, and it's been an awesome ride.
Liked the episode, but the whole "Whites" thing seemed a bit redtreadish from Curb and the "Blacks".
As much as I agree that the season has had some winners, I don't like that the show has positioned itself not to be fun for younger teens. I guess it's technically not meant for them, but my kids (13 and 11) loved the old stuff and this season is mainly going over their heads. How does the show expect to get new fans this way?

Do they need new fans? They're in for 20+ seasons at this point. I have a feeling Matt and Trey will be perfectly happy to ride off into the sunset on their hundreds of millions of dollars when comedy central decides to stop paying them what they ask.
So was that the season finale or part 1 of the season finale?
I believe it was the season finale. I think they let Garrison escape because they feel Trump will no longer be president at the start of season 22 so it will start with Garrison being caught ( or still on the loose if Trump still is)
