For me it's the opposite.
Tara is the only person on this show I still care about.
Bobby I somewhat do and I like Chibs, but it's not like there would be anything to care about for him.

This is a full blown soap opera now.
Gemma ratting out Tara, Jax going behind the back of the club and his business partners.
In 18 twists, Tara will be on trial, same with Clay and in both, Gemma will be the main figure who can make or break the case.

Way too many shoot out scenes for my taste.

Overall, the quality of the show was on par with what we've seen that season. The show itself is mediocre now and it will stay that way imo.
If Sutter would realize that having the president of a dozen men biker club being the crime "mastermind" is not going to work out over the long run due to credibility issues, then we might have an interesting story. But if The Shield is any indication, this will never happen.

of all the nittery i've read after this finale, i can't believe no-one sees anything wrong with the tara part of it all. only witness
Spoiler:
bites off his tongue
so now we have:

- a top class (apparently?) neo-natal surgeon denying any criminal allegations
- gemma's word that tara planned it all

How is anyone worried about tara going to jail? Bloody hell, it wouldn't even get to trial.

As for the rest of the ep, i enjoyed it (perhaps because I try not to nitpick much, just take it for what it is/wants to be) and thought the otto scene was possibly GOAT. Maybe because I was pretty high at the time, but nevertheless I thought everything about it was amazing, and for how gruesome and bloody and violent it was, i didn't see anything gratuitous or OTT about it. Hell, i paused right as the scene ended and needed about 5 minutes to deal with the awesomeness before i could hit play again.

Pope's right-hand man is just going to ignore the fact that Tig is still alive?

Mcnitt,

Are we sure it was Gemma? Her testimony would also be a confession. The sheriff isn't in bed with Gemma like he was with Jax that allowed him to go with the gun thing. Wouldn't he have to arrest Gemma?

Being really nitty. Clays gun didn't have a threaded barrel for a suppressor then suddenly it does.

Yeah, not sure how Gemma ratting out Tara comes of anything. It'd be one stupid conspiracy to murder plan.

And Pope's second doesn't care about Tig being alive. Only Pope needed Tig dead.

Possibly the best thing about the finale was that Nero lived to fight another season.

I was really hoping that Clay would have somehow followed Pope to the warehouse and saved Tig and then flipping the entire story line around on Jax. Then I might have something to look forward to. I don't even know what I'm excited about for the next season.

clay is never going to die before season 7. it's not going to happen and you guys just have to give up on that idea. If there was any time to kill him before the end of the series it would have been in season 4. kurt sutter in his delusions of grandeur has remarked repeatedly he's trying to loosely mirror hamlet. (lol)... and everyone knows that all the major characters of hamlet die at the end.

If that's the case, then why does Pope's second even care who killed Pope...
He is supposed to be following through with Pope's orders--that either continues or doesn't after Pope is dead. Not selectively choosing to do A (bounty) but not B (Tig).
Also, that's a pretty obvious loose end when it comes to the Clay killing Pope story:
Pope is there to kill Tig.
Pope ends up dead.
Tig doesn't.

Also also, Tig's name is apparently Alexander.

He may not want to live at this point anymore anyway, everyone's turned on him, every..single...person he "loves"...Gemma, Juice, Tig...
The past few weeks they are trying to show that he has repented but its to little to late. We are suppose to feel "sorry" for him now. I don't thats for sure.

The killing of Pope was the only way they could let Tig live, I think jax played it well with Popes #2 I like the Angle here.I do like it , I didnt want tig to die I jsut didnt see a way to kill him with out the bounty falling on him.

Tara , im sorta just following it along, I do care and I don't care , just sorta meh story right now for me, yet i know its a huge part of the show. Is the US Marshall dude story done, I mean really? Also I doubt Gema turned her over , I actually think Toric did.

I do hope sutter some how avoids this lazy writing hes been doing this season , pretty much feels like he phones alot of this in, like hes got his story we all see it but he's just sorta winging it in.

From his perspective - if he refuses to follow through on the bounty then no telling who might come at him. I assume he will offer the same amount of money to protect himself as Pope did. Also, he doesn't answer to anyone anymore - he can selectively do whatever he wants.

Interview with Sutter says he will be back for 7-8 eps next season (they signed him for 10). Not sure on Smits or Billy Brown - it depends on scheduling issues

You missed the part where Jax called and said he was going to be late with Tig but instead shows up on time. When Jax is talking to Pope's second he says that he was late and he got there after it all went down, which has more credibility because Pope's second thought he was gonna be late.

The problem with this story is that the location of all the bodies is only consistent with Tig already being there. If Tig wasn't there why would they have three people inside with a car and a flunky outside in the open. They would either all be hidden or all together outside before they showed up. Also impossible for Jax to move the bodies in a timely manner without leaving evidence of such given how they were killed.

Put this crap in spoilers please, didn't want to read this.

Disappointed assuming it's true but can't say I'm surprised.

This last episode was a joke. The least Pope could have given us was one "WAAAAAAAAAALT" after being shot. The rest of the episode was pretty good though

I don't think that it deserved spoiler tags, hence why there were none. It is not relevant to the plot/story in anyway.

i really dont get juices role this season. he drove clay around, but i dont recall them being bffs prior to this season really. why would he continue to take care of clay once he was kicked out of the club? especially once jax already knew about him talkign to the feds?

yes, it is a spoiler

yes, it is plot/story relevant

here is an example. lets say you KNEW 100% the following information

A. Clay appears in 1 of 13 episodes next season

logic = Clay dies in next season

b. Clay appears in 13 of 13 episodes next season

logic = Clay is alive the whole season (or he's Ghost Dad all year)

/nit

Finale sucked
Pope died, and Otto bit his tongue off

Nothing else happened in 90 minutes
