Sons of Anarchy Season 5 Sons of Anarchy Season 5

Ive watched every episode of this show and generally have a good understanding of whats going on and why. But can someone just give me a quick synopsis of how Danny Trejo is CIA?

At first I thought he was a real cartel guy that flipped and is working for the feds to help bring down the other cartel. Now Im not sure if thats right? Was he always CIA and is just undercover posing a cartel guy? And what is his goal? He gets the big weapons and then what? Im sorry if this stuff is obvious to most of you but Im having a hard time following this part.

He is cartel. No one except a select few know he is working with the CIA. I believe Jax made a comment earlier this season where he said something along the lines of "what would your guys do if they found out their leader was working with the feds" or something like that.

The CIA has a history of helping out in conflicts like this - The CIA believe it's in their best interest to have Galindo win this cartel conflict.

I would think that if he was CIA trying to take down Galindo that he would already have more than enough to do so.

I thought the guy meeting with Otto was the nurse's husband, but I might be wrong on that one.

I, also, dont know why I enjoyed that episode. Clay needs to die and it's getting to annoying to keep chasing something that is so obvious and could easily be proven.

after all the surprise deaths and craziness of the middle part of the season, these last few episodes have felt kinda flat

He wants to be positive there is not going to be any back fire from it. And until the end of this last episode the RICO case could have been brought back at any point, which means he needs Clay since the IRA will only deal with him. Lastly, Jax now sees a way from benefiting from the death of Clay. Who is against Charming Heights the most? Clay. Who does Jax insist is the ONLY investor in Charming Heights? Pope. If you make the investor go away, you'll make the project go away. And what happens when someone kills Pope? The person to kill the murdered receives 5 million dollars!

Plus, so far the only actual evidence of Clay's wrongdoings are the letters from John Teller. And those letters are nothing but J.T.'s suspicions that he may be killed by Clay. There still isn't proof of it.
No matter the flaws in this I'm pretty sure this is how it ends

+1

It feels like Sutter is trying to cram 50 different complicated plot-lines in to this series and I keep losing track of stuff.

If HHH and Opie had a child he would look like the new character.

A lot of this season has felt like a long "Previously on Sons of Anarchy" segment.

I got a kind of vigilante vibe from him.

Also, got a lol from seeing that the leader of Nero's old crew was the guy who violated Aceveda.

I agree with this. Im really hoping he somehow makes it to the next season, though these well known guest stars usually seem to be a one season deal. Unless he gets obliterated by his homies or spite killed by Clay, he seems to have a chance.

We still don't know what Bobby meant at the end of the episode but if after hearing all that crap that Clay's responsible for , his first instinct is to protect him somehow , I'll be really disappointed.

lol Galen is such a boss.
completely outgunned, completely outmanned, completely surrounded in a small, confined space and he just casually caps the cartel dude like it's nothing.

We will see. I'm usually a big supporter but I thought this episode was sub-par. This episode just seemed like Sutter knows that he has 7 seasons to tell his story so in an unrealistic manner, he is setting up next season with the Irish/Clay vs. SAMCRO. I was very disappointed in this episode, but I must say that Clay is the best actor on the show.
