Sweet, thanks for the heads-up!
I'm not a Seinfeld fan and I've enjoyed maybe 25% of these, but the best eps are really good and there are always a couple of them each season

ellen degeneres episode was pretty terrible, was really taken aback by how misanthropic she was. must've been painful trying to edit that episode together!
it was an okay series of episodes, no real standout for me

Huh? Jerry came off as misanthropic and Ellen seemed kind of disgusted by him.

i have seen two, chappelle and ellen. chappelle was better but neither was great. there seemed like a lack of chemistry on the ellen one, and across both there seemed to be more 'bits'. it's also weird to hear jerry talking about penises and anuses.
the only bit that i'll remember was this:
ellen: 'wow, this is great, it looks like something you'd go in on a safari. have you been on a safari?'
jerry: 'no'
ellen: 'wow, you should! you'll love it'
jerry: '*resigned voice* ok. something else i gotta do.

Going through what's on Netflix, the Miranda Sings was probably the worst I've seen of the whole series. The little bit at the end, where she's not in character, was frustrating. Like, that's actually interesting! Her character we can understand in about 30s of screen time, so give us that and then get deeper.
The next episode up was Larry David and was one of the best.
