Didnt love the finale but vat of acid and story train were great in the back half of the season.

We just saw Rick fighting Zeus. I wasnt very interested in him fighting Phoenix-Person

Final was just OK and formulaic. They are working on season 5 while season 4 needed more work

I just caught a great joke in the Vat Of Acid episode. When Morty is facing the consequences of all his actions, a bunch of protesters ate holding signs. One says “That’s Our Word”

My friend would tell me to watch this show, and while out of town, I caught an episode in the hotel, it was the one when the dude takes a crap in Ricks(?) toilet. The show is so absurd it's great.

OK, so about 7 episodes in S1 and it's great. While at a jobsite I keep saying "Hi, I'm Mr. Meeseeks, look at me" to myself and I can't stop.

So this is Dr. Who if it was a cartoon.

Lots of stuff gets packed into an episode.

If you want to go full Dark, sure. I always thought the show was anti-time travel but if you want to say that in Anime world Morty = Rick, that is no skin off my back.

But I mean, if everything is cannon then what is the point. Morty = Beth. Why? Because I imagined a scenario where that happened. To infinity and beyond

That was a better start to season 5 than season 4.

The Mr. Nimbus story was strange but Rick's frustration with his nemesis provided some laughs.

I really liked the sped-up-time-world and all the consequences of Morty going there to retrieve wine.

I noticed Mr. Nimbus mentioned "Diane" (Rick's dead wife and Beth's mother). Other than in season 3 opener, I don't think she's been mentioned by name by any character. And, there was a possibility that she was entirely made up by Rick in that episode.

For me, one of the biggest mysteries I want revealed is why Diane appears not to exist in any alternate universe.

Yeah a very solid episode overall, I wouldn't be unhappy if this were the average quality ep this season. I liked the creative new way for Morty to get cockblocked in the end by Jessica this time around.
