I just don't understand McDonald's marketing. They are promoting a new kind of chicken tenders. If there was a store near me that had ample quantities of Szechuan sauce, I would swing by and try some. At the very least they'd get $7 from me. But maybe the new chicken tenders are ****ing amazing and I would like them enough to come back for them frequently and they'd make a lot of money from me.
Instead, the nearest place to get the sauce was an hour drive away, and in such small quantities that my chances of getting any were near zero, so I didn't bother to go to any McDonald's yesterday, and thus they didn't get my $7 and I didn't try the new chicken tenders so I'll never know if they're any good and thus McDonald's won't get a lot of money from me even if they are good.
