Re: Rick and Morty

Decided to watch this after reading so much good **** about it. Almost died during the Meeseeks episode from laughing so hard.

Ratings have been amazing apparently and it was renewed for a 2nd season today. http://www.hollywoodreporter.com/liv...renewed-679875

Re: Rick and Morty

My least favorite episode of the season so far. Not bad, just not as many laughs.

The worst Rick and Morty episode is like the ugliest Victoria's Secret model.

I'm not sure what exactly is allowed wrt links, but they released next weeks episode early through ~100 15-second instagram videos. There's different hashtags for a lot of them.

Re: Rick and Morty

Favorite episode for me as well, and better then any animated sitcom episode I've seen since some of South Park's best this decade. Seriously. That was absolutely freaking brilliant.

I wasn't really feeling this show after the pilot, but I'm glad I kept watching.

Absolutely loved the minimal-cut improvised VO acting. When they broke, I couldn't stop laughing.

Also liked the references to the previous episodes, especially Morty telling Summer that he's from a parallel universe.

Re: Rick and Morty

That's something that Harmon often does with Community too, you'll get 20 minutes of over-the-top wacky stuff and then and ending that makes you go "awwww, that's...kinda nice. Huh." This was seriously a great episode.

Anyway...Ball Fondlers, anyone?

The whole improv angle was great. The corpse breakfast conversation was incredible though. One of my favorite episodes by far.

Re: Rick and Morty

This was likely the best episode of television I have seen this year. Screamingly funny but being able to ground the show in such warmth while also basically revealing the meaning of life just took it to that rarefied level that will be remembered for years to come.
