Same, but the bar for R&M is so high, I still really enjoyed this episode.

Yeah was just a "decent" R&M ep, meaning it's still like top 5% of TV in general.

I mean, sure it wasn't as epic as 301 but that ep was still hilarious. Take your meh ratings to the Semanticsdome

I'm wondering if the post-apocalyptic world is relevant to the larger story arc. Perhaps it wasn't just a random place Rick chose.

why do you think it's any different than any other universe they've visited? like the couch or pizza people uni? Seems like the portal gun is just a convenient tool for their shenanigans. Not saying you're wrong, just didn't see any indication it had any more importance than anywhere they've visited during the series, rick is always going to some weird place to get "x"

Agree with everyone else. Felt mediocre but our expectations have been pushed so high that they can't possibly be met with each episode.

c'mon. you can't say "look who's purging now" or "the wedding night squanchers" are on the same level as "mortynight run" or "get schwifty." some episodes in s2 were far better than others, so some didn't meet expectations.

I can't tell which ones you are saying were better. I'd rank those 4 episodes; Mortynight Run > The Wedding Night Squanchers > Look Who's Purging Now > Get Schwifty.

IMO the only mediocre episode in season 2 was the interdimensional TV one.

There is definitely a wrestling fan on the writing staff. Armothy did a Hulk Hogan pose, as well as John Cena's "U Can't See Me" gesture.

I don't think you need to be a wrestling fan to be aware of 2 of the 5 most well-known wrestlers of the past 30 years.

i thought the 1st season was one of the best things i've ever seen on tv, besdies like 2 episodes i hated the 2nd season, it was like they were doing a "greatest hits" after 1 season and they toned down rick a bunch.

thought s3 ep 2 was totally in line with what i expect from them tho, first episode i felt was meh
