Re: Rick and Morty

Agreed. The pilot was one of the most quotable episodes of comedy I've ever seen. Has a lot of potential.

Re: Rick and Morty

Very very good episode last night. Mr. Meseeks was great.

The jellybean rape part was very creepy though.

Just got aware of this and watched it. I think that's the weirdest animated series I've ever seen; it even tops The Modern Life of Rocko.

Re: Rick and Morty

The show took a big step forward for me with meseeks and destroy. I loved the scene after the jelly bean rape when Rick realizes what has happened and gives Morty the win he needed. He didn't make a big deal about it to play the hero because it would have embarrassed morty so he quietly let the kid have his day in the sun and then murdered the jelly bean king out of sight. It was nice to see Rick isn't an outright sociopath and does care about Morty. Just a little bit of heart goes along way with something this dark and after having an anthropomorphized Jelly Bean violently sexually assault a young boy in a bathroom stall (that is a combination of words I never expected to write) it needed something sweet to balance it out. It was a great character moment.

Re: Rick and Morty

This has the potential to be the greatest animated show of all-time. It's unreal good.

I imagine it'll be difficult to keep the plots fresh as the seasons go on. For now, I'm enjoying the ride.
